Hrm, so many people listing Half-life 2 and maybe Doom3.
Im gonna get a cunting for this but here goes:

The magic of Doom 3 and half-life 2 seems a bit lost on me now, ive seen a few games like this that are over-anticipated and over-hyped and when they actually hit the shelves they look absolutely bugger all like the tantalising screenshots that have been publicised and the actual gameplay of them turns out to be a load of cobblers.

Not to put it down or anything but it seems it may end up as one of the biggest anti-climaxes ever made, then again it might not.

So personally i wouldnt get my hopes up about either of them.

It's Half-Life 2, fgs. How can it be bad? I mean, even if it turns out to completely suck arse, the gajillions of mods which will most certainly pop up will redeem it.
