Event said:The chance to slam debate has been going on forever but in a grab bag some time back mythic said that shield has its own hidden wep skill and higher shield gives higher chance to land slam - ofc I could be wrong but I'll try and find the link.
As for rvr artifacts taking 1M rpts to reach lvl 10 - maybe it is different for each artifact but I can tell you that battler seems to take approx 300k to lvl 10 as far as I can tell so far.

when you try to slam somebody in RvR game routines compare your WS with your enemys WS if yours is lower than your openents your chance of landing slam decreases, thats why S/S hero hits more frequently with slam than hybrid, block/parry/evade affect the calculation aswell ofc
dunno where you got that from but there is no such thing as a main weaponskill ,if you want to call it like that your "mainweaponskill" is the one you are currently using
furthermore your shield spec doesnt affect slam either it just affects your blockrate
2 shield spec are aprox. 1% blockchance

Next time someone swallows a full respec stone try slamming with only skillpoints in shield before you assign points to your weapons, see if we can get some real proof
