Another at Big Chill, this works so well live it's ridiculous. All played with live brass band and a barbershop quartet etc, fantastic energy.

And another from the festival, the utterly wonderful Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings.

This woman is one of the best performers I've ever seen. She has an utterly INCREDIBLE voice, it's flawless. She has SO much energy it's obscene, she's basically a female James Brown. She's a real soul diva and had the whole tent laughing and smiling.

Probably my favourite set of the festival belonged to Ghostpoet, a new UK hiphop guy who sits pretty much in the middle of Tricky and Roots Manuva. He also performs with a live band and it works really well. His album is quite mellow and downtempo but when performed live they have a bit more bounce and fire behind them, and it really suits. His delivery is fantastic, been nominated for the Mercury Music prize but sadly doesn't stand much chance. He should win IMO, by a long way.

You had me at live brass band. Sounds amazing. I've had massive love for Django Reinhardt since playing Mafia, the guy was a genius.
