I have to say playing on the end of thurgs is a nightmare...But I really don't mind shrooms as you can see them before they attack (in most cases) but if you run into a field its probably gonna be the end .

2 pbaoers in the realm makes a good difference on 2 casters that are the most deadly combo in a fg out of all casters if played well in daoc, end of story.Not a whine, just a fact.

But still caba/sorc is good aswell no doubt, infact not much worse really.

I'll take my leave by saying, I'm not fond of early relic raids, but we did it and succeeded (on 1 relic, 2nd attempt we got shroomfarmed, whoever said that shrooms didn't matter/were uber can go blow a donkey.) so kudos the raid organizer, and kudos to the albs that showed up and put on a nice show.

And congrats to the Hibs for defending on the 2nd try, we had no chance.

Well Caba & Sorc don't have pbaoe, but if you look at Caba + Sorc in comparison to Eld + Chanter you will notice that they have _alot_ more utility.

Mana Enchanter can PBAoE, st stun and debuff & DD and has a pet. Mana Eldricht can PBAoE, st stun, nearsight and DD, no pet.

Spirit Cabalist can st root, ae snare, debuff & lifetap, nearsight and has a pet. Mind Sorcerer can ae mezz, st mezz, demezz, lifetap, root, st root, ae amnesia, st amnesia and has a pet.

I'd say the Cabalist + Sorc is maybe harder to play than the Eld + Enchanter, but if played well the utility is like limitless.

Versus a primarily tank based group - definitely. Versus a caster based group there isn't much use for PBAoEing though.

Better versus caster groups, considerably worse vs tank groups imo.

Yeah, in situations where you bump into eachother, but not in standoffs or when you know where the enemy is (from stealther intel).

You forgot the elds debuffs(stat ones) and aoe mezz from eld(if light).

At the end of the day, ANY caster in daoc can be good in the current situation of the game.Relics make the difference sadly aswell as cc being too dependant on who wins a fight which sucks in my view.

I am not, just do not underestimate a chanter+eld i seen several on pryd kick ass totally.(zel and shikei were a fking nightmare to kill )

Sevensins get a clue, they revoked /level 30 for all because Mythic deemed it not having the effect it was supposed to have. I.e most rerollers return to their previous realm anyway.

I never said they wouldn't just saying they have the option to have 2 pbaoers, also the eld gets str/con aoe debuff in that mana line, now that's fucking deadly when you mezz a fg use it then pbaoe....but like i said all casters are good really, some people can't see this and just go by whoever rolls what one.

Who cares anyway, i am just enjoying the game, it's a challenge facing some of the hibs lately out in emain and good to see them.Relics will change a lot in NF with new system probably anyway hibs will get them back probably soon i bet.

I don't really care much about the population, but I find it pretty annoying when you log in at 8:15 GMT and discover that your realm has 54 ppl online, no keeps and the power relic is neutral.

Not like you don't have the numbers to take the relics from us prime-time.
