True, but guns make it a hell of a lot easier to kill someone.

Try killing/wounding 10 people in 10 seconds with a knife (it's not going to happen).

Try killing someone 100 feet away from you with a knife (it's not going to happen).

Try killing someone who can run faster than you with a knife (see where I'm going with this).

Because in this new hyper-sensitive climate, Terrorist is a buzzword bandied about when describing an Organisation of Terror, rather than a lone individual's equally terrifying rampage?
Its also disgusting and ridiculous that the status quo now dictates one has to be Middle Eastern to be a Terrorist. Its xenophobic propaganda gone mad.

On the plus side, this Washington person is single-handedly snatching back the buzzword. Hurrah!

I feel it is, because he's striking a blow for literacy, regardless of his killing-spree - thats something to celebrate, given America's declining understanding of language. He's a veritable hero, in my books. Its callous, I know.

Well, my train of thought is quite clear through-out my posts on this subject. I'm not going to outline it again. Also, I've never said he's doing it in the name of literacy. Only that he's striking a blow for it.

Perhaps he should shoot you :p

i was wondering what they were going on about when they interrupted 'Back to the Floor' (this time following the owner of america's prison system) to tell me that police had surrounded a phone booth with 'expert marksmen'.

that was re-assuring.

and on that note. american prison system appears to be an absolute shambles from what i saw. suppose thats what you get for taking corporistaion (sp?) to the extremes.

edit: hope they catch the bloody bastard soon
