The funny thing being he was an ex-army Sergeant, who was trained as a sniper.

Nope he was a Machinist or Technician in English, who never recieved any formal sniper training. At least thats what the US Defence Department say, but I guess they would wouldn't they?

Incidentally, his weapon of choice? The Bushmaster, a civilian hunting equivalent of the M16, so I was pretty close on that one too.

In that case, he is clearly not a poor marksman. Whether he's an especially good shot, is another matter, however don't go slagging him off because the shots were easy
