on the grounds that this is a fair and good explanation I am dismissing it!

Just at the time it was the perfect scenario for the vid (bumping into you stealthed) I was very eager to kill you and its like oh hes not fighting. but what u say below is more than fair enough...

(but to be fair you also dont need anything up to kill me, just poisons on weapons and get stuck in, should be good, you will notice I had FZ up but didnt use it)

You pm'd me the other day wanting to fight me for your vid. The other day when I was in Odins I saw you and /taunt you a few times and you didn't even want to come fight.

When you jumped on me before your fraps I had nothing up as I used it all on a few fights before and I knew you wanted a good fight so the reason why I /hug.

So our next fight not long after (prolly about 2 mins after?) we had hib adds which we dealt with quite well. So I then went back for you again hoping to give you a decent fight, which it was.

first impressions are that its same as the others but i dont agree with the qb setup, if you concentrated on your melee on the first qb and used WASD instead of arrows keys it seems to be that your using which would allow you to not click so much and also put not so necessary things to a second/other qb i think you would perform better, ive seen a few times in this first fight where you could of got ragnarok off but because its on a 2nd qb your not even trying to use it.

Ill watch the rest later, dont have time atm.

Your last ranger vid is still the most entertaining, but that's probably because it's higher RR.
Still fun to see what a well played hunter is capable of. You react well to various abilities that are used against you, etc.

You're first hunter vid was the reason i got meself 10 cloth boots with celerity charges.
Only tried them out on my rr2 2-h SB so far, but perhaps they will be better used on my skald when i get my new 1.88 temp!

Good fights and seems you arent missing much names from the ppl currently out there...
Did notice that you arent always using you RA's. Like vs fayte where he couldve killed you while you had purge & ip up. Or vs a certain gimp vw where using purge couldve made the difference.

Decent video, makes me want to play my hunter, but seeing from the fights they arnt always like that, almost never am as lucky as that with scalars procs and like you to said to arurudrry about getting the jump, most assassins really dont realise how frustraiting it is when every attack you do gets evaded because of silly evade and ws debuff poisons, hunters are really quite up against it in terms of defense and now so are rangers. When i first started my sword hunter when there were no others around this was hell for me as it was pure STR debuff and hurt even more, but still did well in rvr and the solo zone and it was enjoyable to be atleast original but competative. I might try take my hunter out for some runs but it does take a lot of patience to get good fights.

From the damage in the movie i need to finally get me a matter lw ^^ or do you have them pre poisoned by an SB because you seem to have a hell of a lot of them is a bit of an effort to go to?

I still agree with what i said before, you have chances to get the 7 second evade follow up stun off a few times but dont even attempt to and also ragnarok because of your quickbar setup and the fact you click and use arrows keys, although it is fast clicking id always have ragnarok/evade style backed up by the anytimer. But decent movement especially to be sacre there.

Dont know what fayte was doing in that fight where he could of finished when stunned you but went to hit the dog I used to find vs wardens and such it helped to switch back and forth between 1h and 2h to get through PBT more easily. Also you only have purge1 in some fights, might consider going that way myself if i play some as i use it mainly for debuffs also, but what did the put the spared points into? PD i imagine, maybe i wont then considering 1.88 inc :<

Most hunters are cake for my OP sorc.... that banana hunter usually has to abuse everything he has and still ends up running from me

i wont be on for 3 weeks, give me a week to get to prime again and ill give you some good fights for your next vid hope its like your ranger vids...

Funnily enough there aint too many rangers about...

but then again there aint too many sneaks about... I did have a few fraps fights with rangers but they were dead fast.

Im sure if pup or habemus were still around they would be quality fights in which I could get prawned, although I would still bet on the hunter coming up trumps all things being equal etc... its just a stronger class...

mythic went overboard with nerfing rangers... Rangers basically are naked hunters with less melee raw DPS... Less melee defense penetration... Less WS (hunter gets bonus WS no other class in game gets), no pet DPS (dadd is pretty pittyfull in comparision).. they used to have a worthwhile advantage and that was defense penetration and armour tables I guess in the blade heyday...

Think possibly a high shar blade ranger with aug str 4+ could rox it up a bit... specially next patch... Its really noticable when you go up against a vulnerable armour type, and blades still has it good... So in theory a shar packing around 380-390 str with capped out temp could bang down hunters pretty good given the chance. You will crank in hits in mainhand hits for 250-300 with 100 crits and then offhand hits for say 100+ on mid lether and studded so in theory a hunter or SB would be a nice target...

Unfortunetly as a luri if you invest in aug str 5, (whats thats 40 odd RP) you will get the same str as a shar with aug str 0....

For this reason now luris are forced into poke spec and then the temptation to run physical weapons is massive (because of the nice procs and stats etc) however against about 75% of your primary enemies your up against resistant armour... This instantly nullifies a leet template and will make even a tooled up to the teeth luri melee ranger more of a pest than a threat.

For speccing 2 melee lines the ranger should have an edge in defense penetration if not raw DPS (which ofc goes to the hunter)... but basically its gets nothing. A good suggestion on VN is that your defense penetration scales with the amount of CD you spec.. that way my thic can scale it fairly rather than a flat out CD halves evade etc... It will never happen though as its far to good a suggestion

however the reality is the hunter, not only gets the edge but is light years ahead.

I remember when I made censi 4 and 99% of it was blade spec... You get some real nice banging hits V SB's and Hunter which are slash vulnerable...

bottem line is you need to go blade but cant on a luri... give race respec!
