Iv'e been a fan for many years, but now iv'e stoped going to matches and ain't realy intrested in it no more. The money in football is absolutely pathectic, just think about how much 28 million actually is, and just how many ways better that amount of cash can actually be better spent. Football is no longer a sport, it's a discrace, both in the people that run the game, the people that play it, and all the grabbers that exploit the fans.

Thats one of the most refreshing outlooks of football in todays society I've heard in a long time.

Never really being a fan of watching football, I couldn't see the point in it, though playing it is fine.

But the money is ludicrous, if you look back say, 60 years, its become so much more than a game, and is more just about money. End of the day its poxy capitalism!

erm what about Arsenal's signings? They are pretty shite imo
Campbell hasn't proven himself on the world stage (i.e. Champions League) and is not really major as he isn't an absolute necessity because Adams and Keown are still playing and playing well.

Then theres Richard Wright who is also unproven and probably won't get in the first team.

Theres Van Bronckhorst who played a grand total of about 6 games last season cause he has a dodgy knee

and then an Everton striker

Hardly very daunting signings whereas Manchester United already have a capable squad who showed last season that they can win the Premiership and then they go and add one of the best passers of the ball in the world and a striker who has scored some very important goals for his country lately and comes from a club who have produced loads of good players such as Romario, Ronaldo, Cocu. etc.

Personally I can't see Arsenal finishing in the top 4 next season especially if Vieira leaves to go to Real.

True the rest are maybe unproven but they all have flair and othre attributes that will make them good players.
