I already planned to watch (on dvd) 300, possibly dirty Harry or The good the bad and the ugly and then maybe Role Models or Balls of Fury or something of that ilk but was also going to the cinema and I just cannot decide which one to see, am going to watch both at some point anyway tbh do I watch them both on the same day? Dare I do a double feature? Ooh I think I might have solved my own problem there, ok thanks anyway!

Bleh, I'm far to away from my femine side to do flowers/cards and all that lol. Always go for getting her something useful rather then a random out of the hat gift though.

True Grit, highly overrated but you will figure that out for yourself if you go watch it. It ain't a bad film but most of the reviews are way way over the top, same as happens for any Cohen Brothers film tbh. Paul will at least raise a smile.

Me? Probably going out for cocktails with a bunch of friends unless I manage to pull a new woman in the next 24 hours.

1st time doing this day on me todd for a decade so I'm doing stuff to make me happy, as Barbra Streisand sang 'don't rain on my parade mother fucker', going hiking in zee morning and movies and a giant pizza the rest of the day.

Always used to do the whole shebang on Vay, flowers, chocolates a card and a fab day trip and awesome dinner. Bloody loved it, am a very romantic sod at heart so I took a tip from Russ this year and made all my new found friends little valentines and sent them out because it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

Hope everyone has a grand day whatever they do...I may very well wear my stetson to the cinema (do the whole Bill Murray thing from groundhog day lol) and possibly be sick because I plan to eat the whole box of chocolates I got myself... screw not getting my thorntons tbh!!

Romantic is definately the way to go, you have to have at least one special day per year as a couple, just buy all the stuff in advance so you don't get ripped off by the shops. Oh and buy your Valentines cards after the 14th for 1/4 the price and then save them for next year!

Anyway, looks like Porn Star Martini's for me, so the single life ain't all bad!

What i'm saying has come across wrong. I'm not one for the gift giving, the roses, the 'love you's everywhere, and neither is my gf. I'm more of the showing type, simple hug, cuddle, kiss and sign of affection rather then that suits us. That and I find the whole Valentines thing a joke.
