Rant US vs EU prices.

Was just looking at Fallen Earth price since i got an promotional email.

The EU price 45:99 Euro.

Why do companies think they can still rip off EU customers? Pretty much just like Steam does. Bloody leeches.

Does it matter anyway? Games will run on any PC that can handle them and online games can usually be altered ala DAoC so you can use the other patch.

what happens if you buy the US version? Yyou save money, you can join any servers (US or EU with maybe a small change to some *.file), & you get the same game right? Why would anyone logically buy the EU version if its more expensive?

29 euro on steam for me, not that much more then you (£26:ish) but still.

Or because the average casual gamer wouldn't know about that trick and the devs aren't about to advertise it.

If you know someone you can trust, you can always Paypal the money and ask that person to buy the game on Stream and gift it to you.

The savings vary on each game, but it's better than paying the slightly more expensive price.
