Yea I don't think I put the method of specifically changing from EU to US on there because it's not really a concern of mine although if you basically reverse the file changes from the FAQ then it should work, I guess
That said, it has been mentioned before in some threads but I honestly can't remember which ones.
edit, pasting the amended steps for posterity:
- Find the file named 'realmlist.wtf' in the main WoW directory (default <drive letter>:\Program Files\World of Warcraft) with Notepad
- replace the line 'set realmlist eu1.wow.battle.net' with 'set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com' (excluding the '')
Ive downloaded the EU version (for the final beta) and just changed the realmist thing that Fuzzy said and it works fine. When i want to play EU, ill just change it back and it should work.

Doubt that, patching from EU (localized english) to US (american) works, but the other way doesnt. Obviously "The Great Lift" in Thousand Needles will be named "The Great Elevator" in the english version of the game... it works going from "elevator" to "lift". But Blizzard does not allow for making "lifts" into "elevators".
