The "poverty rate" is the % of an ethnic group in poverty, which is 20% for blacks and 10% for whites, but as an absolute number, that means more whites are in poverty since whites are around five times the overall population as blacks. Its actually sites like that are part of the problem.

You're wilfully ignoring the point he's making - there's absolutely a relevant argument about corporate control of conversation, especially in a country where freedom of speech is constitutionally protected.

The founding fathers didn't envisage an electronic means of communication when they drew up the laws - or corporate control of speech, otherwise they'd have covered it.

I don't doubt absolute poverty of the black population by percentage - but the worst achieving demographic in the country are poor white british kids.

So, there's something about the society we've built that puts them at the biggest disadvantage compared to any other demographic. It could well be that they feel worthless and underrepresented because, in an effort to fix more obvious problems, we're putting our efforts elsewhere.
