Oh yeah, if Biden wins it'll be another re-run of Obama and then people complaining he didn't get anything done... because he can't.
Should have won bigger.

The fact is - the American public aren't lapping up what the Dems are selling - because the Dem's are selling the same shit that they've always sold - neoliberal failure.

So Trump gets away with what he gets away with because the Democrats have no answer to really helping the poor - they're just window dressing a further decline into worsening inequality.

Keir Starmer is the democrat of British politics IMO. Meet the new boss, just the same as the old boss.

The only thing I'll be upset about if Trump wins is that it makes any meaningful progress on the environment much much harder.

I think it's more likely that the idea of basing your polls on tens of thousands of people for an election for 300m people is a bit flawed.

Statistically that shouldn't matter. The problem is "shy voter syndrome". There are lots of Americans who vote for Trump but don't want to be seen to vote for Trump, so they lie. Despite his demonstrable narcissism and incompetence, people still prefer his narrow isolationism and there's a lot of Americans who vote for Trump because of the criticism of the rest of the world. Its a bloody-minded, cut-your-nose off to spite your face attitude that Britons know only too well.

Trump was always going to contest the postal votes; he's been setting his stall out on that score for months, so no big surprise. I was hoping Biden was going to have a clear lead before postals came in, but that was too much to hope for given 90m postal votes cast; so we're just going to have to settle in for the unfolding shitshow. This won't be over for a while.

Farage claiming postal voting is rife with fraud. Fucking LOL.

He is again someone who is struggling for relevance, most people don't care about him any more and no remake of the reform party will change that for the majority.

Firstly half the country will not listen to single word Biden says for the short time he would be in power.
Seriously, listen to him..
Harris stands a chance because shes a conservative with a history of unliberal comments and actions.

I truly believe Trump will carry on doing rallies and that he has changed politics for ever, he really does stand a chance of sucking some power out of the Whitehouse into a reality tv show, never underestimate what he managed in 2016 and nothing is off the table for crazy shit his supporters will buy into.
m8 - I agree - (I'm not going to auto-facepalm you).

Half the country absolutely won't listen to Biden (if he wins). But half the country isn't listening to Trump. So it's no different.

Trump won't carry on doing rallies if he loses - what does it get him? If he's out of power, he's out of power - he'll just go back to his regular non-presidential life and scream at people from Twitter, stir up shit, but he'll have little real power - that lies with the legislature. And ultimately - unless he's managing to get legislation changed then nowt is changing.

If he manages to get some sort of popular movement going to change legislation, well done. Good on him. But I doubt he'll bother tbh.

I know this attracted a facepalm - but this is sort of true because people do feel like this. (Even if the horrible things these people think would, rightly, mean they get berated for their opinions - that "thought police" (read: social pressure) means that people lie to pollsters so they don't have to get shouted at).

I think with the current close-ness of this election (on the back of a brexit vote in the UK) there's a few people on this forum that could benefit from trying to see the problems from the other side - rather than auto-poo-pooing the idiocy of half of a population.

Yes, they may be idiots - but there's genuine surprise here about Trump doing so well. Lose or not - that's a fuckload of votes he's getting.

It isnt sort of true...and your wet reply shows even on here you are under pressure not to agree with me.

The problem of course is Europeans are fed a totally worst case version of Trump and a rose tinted cherry picked version of Biden., you may think thats just fine, in fact you support anything to get rid of this bogeyman you have been warned about...Im just interested in the truth, the media does not come close to it, ever.
Trump has done more positive things for minorities in America in four years than Biden has in 50.

Its taken a full scale , four year indoctrination of voters by the big tech companies, media, entertainment and public shaming to just draw even.

If he loses, he'll landslide in 2024.

I'm under no pressure at all. My reply isn't "wet" - it's balanced.

This sort of rabid idiocy that you spout is why you repeatedly get banned. You're a swivel eyed loon - unable to see when someone is reaching out to talk to you, even partially support a viewpoint you have.

I didn't use the phrase "sort of true" because I'm under pressure - it's because you're largely wrong with most of the shit you say.

You keep claiming you are interested in the truth but regular spout things that are demonstrably false so i take that with a pinch of salt

We just going to brush over the BLM movement and the riots that have happened?

Riots sure are a sign of progress.

Oh yeah, the riots were started by the Democrats, the Marxists and the Political Elite

Arizona is done in Biden's favour (according to AP) - if he snatches Nevada, Michigan and Wisconsin, he'll have *exactly* 270 votes which is the number needed for a clear majority. Proper squeaky bum time and exactly why the GOP wanted to halt counting of votes after the day of the election (and have been doing all they can to fuck the postal service for the last 6 months).

You're not allowed to say "kind of" - that's too damn wet Raven, you victim.

You have to say "trump won" and "it's the liberals own fault" and "he'll be back in 2024!" ;)

He's on track for Wisconsin (Dems already called it but its not done yet) and he's on track for Michigan.

Republicans have requested recount in Wisconsin

If I was Biden I would do the same now for all marginal seats

The counting hasn't even finished there yet

Indeed but Trump can see its lost so he's just clutching at straws now, he's currently .6% behind Biden I believe, noway is a recount going to makeup that .6%.

I reckon Trump is going to burst into a fit of rage if Pennsylvania goes to Biden (not that Biden even needs Penn yet)
