Reddit mods are slowly shutting down high profile subs in protest at racists posting on the site.

Obviously theyre letting people post the fuck out of smashing white owned shops or praising the looters.

Anyway, rip reddit, it used to be something.

A lot of black judges and prosecutors are in a bind, as they are often elected officials, they can't be seen to be going easy on those with the same ethnicity as themselves. So harsher sentences for blacks than whites.

The big thing is, a lot of white people never even get to the point where they can be prosecuted. Blonde white chick not stopping at a stop sign, she will likely get a talking to, then a "drive safely" while being sent on her way. Same situation, with a black person, they are going to be dragged out of their car, handcuffed, their car searched (because all black people are drug dealers, right?). If they protest, they are resisting arrest: Off they go to jail for the night. This is how it is across most of the USA. Of course they are going to be over-represented in the statistics when they are targeted by the police forces like that. You don't see random white dudes being kneed on the neck for 7 minutes. Maximum (excessive) force is applied to black men and women almost every time, and it rarely, if ever, has any consequence. This is what the police protests are about.

I mean thats quite an accusation and a very stereotypical one at that.
Does that play out in the real world?

To a certain degree simply because black people are far more likely to be involved in crime, so people and police who are human tend to assume the worst first.

Its a bit like coming from Liverpool, everyone I meet, you see their faces drop...oh dear, I'll just base my mental picture of the place on tired stereotypes and comedy...rob me wheels..council estates....then try to be patronising...

I completely understand how black people feel, Scouse prides himself on moving away, that constant narrative that you are something less than them.
A million people tarred with the brush by a minority, by people happy to go along with narrative.

The press secretary listed all of these geninely historic moments (Churchill inspecting bomb damage, Bush Jr with the first pitch after 9/11, etc and then just talked about Trump having a peaceful protest cleared with rubber bullets and tear gas (or pepper spray, it's incredible that their line of defence is "buhhh it wasn't tear gas") just so he could waddle across the street and hold up a bible that wasn't even his. You just wonder what depths they're going to sink to next.

No..Im referring to the situation now, can you imagine what its like everywhere you go when you mention youre from liverpool, you get 'better check my wallet'....'My wheels are still there' etc..etc.
You do it on here..

Thats what a black person knows is going on in white peoples heads when they walk in the room..a tirade of prejudice and assumption, quite possibly total dislike....just for the amount of melanin in their skin

Dependent on whether it was the mafia or criminal elements in government working for the military industrial complex it's pretty clear Trump is keeping rich people happy - so it's unlikely he'll get shot.

If he was working hard on a transformative social justice agenda then maybe :)
