I think it's more about what @Wij said to be honest; politicians SHOULD be told off for this, they're public servants, private employees are employees and it should be down to the company to do something about it.

It's the new era we've moved into where people are checking everyones internet history, in a couple of years, if we continue to pick up on every case, no-one will have a job.
