Having had a lot of fun the last few nights with Trollheim raids, I'd like to put this together.

Lvl requirements for this one:
45+ for casters/support classes;
47+ for tanks.

Grp. 1 to include as many Purple Warriors as possible...open season for the other grps. 2 healers per grp if possible...4FGs would be nice, 6 awesome.

Oh and I want a Dragon-Shadow Great Axe, and will sulk if I don't get one :p.

Msg me ( I'm usually playing Svartmetall, Collateral Damage, or Blashyrkh ATM) in-game or post here to sign up. We set off from Hagall at 1900 GMT/2000CET Tuesday evening.

Lotto rules:

Grp first, then alts - i.e. alts only get drops if there are items unclaimed by any grp members (yeah, right).

You can roll for an item if you can use it - i.e. Axes don't go to Hammer users, and vice versa.

You can roll for as many items as you like, but once you get one, that's it - unless we have so many drops that people can have more than one each (yeah, right).

All named drops go to me at end of raid - I'll compile and publish a list of what we got here as soon as I can after the raid, then we agree time to lotto for them here. And yes, weapon dyes are named drops.

Rule Seven applies in all instances.

Let's have some fun and kick some ass :)!

Just a hint, do the lotto straight after the raid, many people will get upset and it takes annoyingly long time if not. And that is a easy way to see which stays for the whole raid, if you can't participate in lotto you are out.

1 ticket lottery is way more fair than "roll until you get something".

With your rules the tanks have a much better chance of getting an item, since they can roll on generic items like cloaks, belts etc. And if they don't get lucky there, there's always the weapons for a second change.

Rest of the rules sounds fair enough to me.

Nah, I don't buy that...if you help drop the mobs, you get to roll for the drops. Simple.

Well, if I go for 1 ticket lottery, there'll have to be long delay at end of raid while I post stats of ALL drop so people can decide what drops they want to roll for.

It's either that or post list of drops here and agree on later time for lotto to meet up and roll, so all can peruse stats of drop sat their leisure - which someone has already said they don't like the idea of. Whatever system is adopted, someone will find something to gripe about.

Think yourself lucky I didn't go for the "if a Dragon-Shadow Great Axe drops, I get it for organising the raid" rule :p.

Agreed...I work 4 days on, 2 days off shifts, so there will be weekend raids I'll put on when my timetable coincides with weekends.

:)

Well, I'm not gonna be going on any raids whatsoever where the organiser claims any item or uses the "roll-until-you-win" system.
So I'm not really sure why I should think myself lucky about anything. If you think a bit about it, you might realise that your rules greatly favors the tank classes, and as more and more people realise this I suspect raids with these rules are gonna have a hard time getting enough support classes to show up.

Wow. You really didn't see I was JOKING with the Great-Axe comment...?!?

It's the first time I've organised a big raid, and it would be nice if people didn't jump down my fucking throat like that.

I'm TRYING to get something nice happening here, which I would like to maybe do on a regular basis. Please excuse the hell out of me if I don't please everyone with everything first time. At no point have I said I'm not open to suggestions on lotto rules, it's the first one I've run.

And BTW I wouldn't have any problem going on a raid where the organiser (i.e. the one putting in a fuckload of effort to get stuff happening) said "if XXXX drops, I want one"...hell, it's their raid.
