Agreed. It's hard to participate on these raids, since I live in Finland and 1900 GMT is 9PM here. From my experience the raids tend to last for 5 hours so ending at 2 am and waking up for work at 6 am is not really an option for me.Originally posted by Nichneven
I want more raids over weekends. Some of us work week days![]()
I agree. I find it annoying when I see threads on the trade forums where thanes are selling skald armors or healers are selling swords etc. Imo a player shouldn't be allowed to roll on an item he can't use to full potential. So if a hammer has +4 hammer +4 parry +4 shield +40hps for example, healers, shamans, zerkers, or skalds really shouldn't have the privilage to roll for that item cause it's only worth its potential in the hands of a thane or a warrior. Same goes for rest of the items. Like belts with piety are not for warriors or zerker's. "roll-until-you-win" system results in these auctions on trade forum. It made me sick when I heard that a player (not gonna mention names) had salvaged TG armors (armor that wasn't his class) and gotten 113 arcaniums, that's like 576.5G, I think that armor could have served someone better.Originally posted by jakobi
Well, I'm not gonna be going on any raids whatsoever where the organiser claims any item or uses the "roll-until-you-win" system.
So I'm not really sure why I should think myself lucky about anything. If you think a bit about it, you might realise that your rules greatly favors the tank classes, and as more and more people realise this I suspect raids with these rules are gonna have a hard time getting enough support classes to show up.
And claiming items is kinda lame too. (not saying that Svartmetall has claimed any), but I know that organizing a raid can be a pain in the arse, so imo it's fair if organizer is able to roll on let's say 3 items.
And last of all. Svartmetall, pick the loot immediately after it drops, and make the macros in TG so when you come out you can just yell the macros in CG 1 min after the raid is over. Results less waiting-> happier people-> more participants on future raids. GL with raid and hope to see some raids with better timings for us GMT +2 peeps(I think this comes from all people in Finland, Greece, Estonia and Russia)
