I think the "1337" fg:rs have a problem with the new "fgvsfg:rs" because they used to run around in zerg 24/7 and think they are pro now when all the real fg:s are gone.

oh and the video is shit, not fighting any real groups.

Did you read what I posted originally? The first two fights were as us being rr1-3. Third one was 2-4. After that there was one after we'd freshly dropped our Thane for Mauler and then the final two were with Sollers second or third night out as a tank (skald). If you're talking in terms of 'real' groups, did you really expect from a 'progressionist' video to just have all the best fights at low realm rank?

We have had plenty of good fights against good groups which I really do wish I had recorded but for the time being, my computer doesn't handle it often and I'm a noob when it comes to hitting record as well as using vegas. I seem cursed to only hitting it a couple of times a night, max and at not the best times.

And yes, I can handle criticism as I am doing now; this wasn't even going to be posted originally and against advice, I decided to do it anyway. Sod it, as long as a few people like it, why not post it? It's not like we have any huge ego to uphold.

Kir, if you're forgetting to hit record often, Gamecam has a feature that records a set amount of time and when you press a button it saves it to the hard disk, if not, it gets lost. So you can have just your fight and press the button after it (still got to remeber to press the button at some time though).

It has also a proper compression, though the quality is a bit weaker than Fraps.

Might want to try it out.

Staj and Vodka nuking again = why not play other chars than caster? Would like to see them on something else (I know they play something else, but no movies bar early WI movies...).

No close fights = enemies are not that what people are making up and there are no real match, hence no need to flame other peeps threads with stuff like "shit groups".

They used to play a caster duo in WI a lot together and I was just suprised to see them running as two casters when they rerolled Avalon again. So I ment specificly this caster duo and for me it was interesting to see them both playing complete different classes together as I consider both of them as very good players especially in a team complementing eachother (Eld & Chanter working together).

As far as I know Staj didn't play in Vf's various solo movie and the BDC movie so I didn't mention it, but hey, have a go at me while I am sure I saw the movies more times than you as I am a big fan of them .

Now I got no clue about their reasons, but when rerolling I rather have people playing something they're familiar with. Learning new type of character gimps grp more than the low rr, add them together and its gonna take quite a while before u start winning vs the best grps... and since many players are used to winning, they aren't too good at taking a loss, and there's big chance the grp dies to excessive whine around ~rr5 when the novelty wears off especially if whole grp is trying smth new.

^^ what he said, I think Kir was rather brave posting this for the reasons stated. DO bear in mind the wacky setup which we'll be running from now on and there will most likely be some more vids later on RR5+. Its quite amusing to see the first nights runs when we had people going from playing a caster for 4-5 years, to a zerker. Plus theurg to pac healer and so on... We've got some nice zerk PoV material already which i'll urge the peep who recorded to make a movie with at some stage. Includes fights vs groups like AD, WB, etc which can and do swing either way. Then Lolfo can qq about the music instead

staj played bm with dem hibbies quite a bit before he swapped back to chanter pemanently, and theurg with 'bdc' towards the end

starting a rr1 group on a server where its impossible to get replacements easily (except lending out acc to those you know) its essential to play in the most efficient setup you can really. it was only logical me and staj played caster duo, but besides that, rm / sm is pretty different. especially towards the later stages when we used tactics that involve us not working together much at all at the start of a fight

when we rolled hib (on lyo/limors) it wasn't us on caster duo but on bard + druid.
