This might be of interest to you. I have a quite extensive CD library of oldish games. Will send em on to you if you want - well I might. PM me for the list - think I have a list anyways. Is this legal?

Old games.. <3

Since I'm quite young(18) I've never really played the very old games. The old Classic games for me are:

Monkey Island 1, 2, 3.
Transport Tychoon Deluxe.
Settlers 2.
Civilization 1 and 2.
Warcraft 1 and 2.

Still remembering when I was a little kid on Warcraft 1 and failing miserably at the first quest. And when I got Civ2 at xmas. God I was happy. :)

First game that got me hooked onto RPGs was 'Eye of the Beholder'. Loved the game. Still have it too I think. Still got loads of old games including the early Ultima ones - or did have. Just looking at my list of old games - lots. These are all out of date now so maybe it is legal to allow them to be downloaded? Could stick em on my site for free download. Gonna find out.

how to be a complete bastard, was free on the cover disk of some spectrum mag. one point i remember was when i found a ZX spectrum in a cupboard upstairs (in game) which gave you the option to reset the computer, it reset your computer. bastard.

Hunter or knights of the sky on the Atari ST

Mercs, zero wing or land stalker on the mega drive.

golden eye on the n64 took me 2 years of on and off playing to unlock everything.

dunno about ps1, i guess it has to be final fantasy 7.

Best game ever!!! Someone else who's actually heard of it!!! Amagad!!!

Played this game loads on Speccy and C64...think there is an open-source project for a remake...hang on...http://l-o-c.sourceforge.net/

They also have the game available for download (plus the expansion!!) for Atari ST and a Windows/Linux ST Emu.

Got a view : Transport Tycoon being one of them (funny how I seen this thread and was talking about this game to friend just last week)

Theme Hospital - Was hoping they would bring out a Theme School :( (someone make it now I suggested it!)

Sent a letter to Bullfrog years ago suggesting that and a Theme Space colony

Funnily enough, saw a space colony type game last year...

Aside from "too many to mention"- etc. Sinclair/BBC onward... Most of Bullfrog's creations(some have been mentioned here). Iirc they did Syndicate?
In terms of games that broke through the 'can I be bothered' syndrome - System Shock 2 worked every time
("Lo Hacker"- lol ).

agree with above..dont know where to begin :p ... well... Dune 2, doom, duke nukem, Frontier: Elite 2, space invaders!(has to be on the original machine, not comp :p) 1942, History line 1914-1918....the list goes on :(

Games today lack originality and simplicity Imo....too much ubah gfx, ubah AI opponents etc!
