Huntelaar is half the price and half the wages though. ;)

I like him and would not mind him being the replacement for Ade if we need one but with the money City have why settle for potential when you can get product.

In shirt news the new ugly pin stripe arsenal shirt is actually really nice in person nice feeling material good looking a new pub shirt contender.

Half the price for a quarter of the goals... OMG WHERE DO I SIGN!!!?!!!!?!??!?!?!!?!!!

In nealy half the games, plus a league he had never played in before. You are being pedantic but it won't change my opinion, Huntelaar has what it takes to be one of the very best strikers in the world.

I actually like the red kit with the black V.

As for not a good week, £80million, and Tevez is not the huge loss many think -he would never have been happy with rotation, and Berba's stats are better.

Also how do you qualify not a good few weeks? I mean I'd see it as you know, relegation, administration, Keegan (oooOOOO), and being unable to appeal a points deduction. But that is just me :p

Few bits: Newcastle likey to be sold for less than Ronaldo: BBC SPORT | Football | My Club | N | Newcastle | Shepherd in £60m Newcastle offer

Now IMO unless Shepard has some cash to invest, or is just a figure head for someone else this is pointless -unless his plan is simply to sell after promotion, he left because he could not afford to run a premier league club in the first place. Let's not forget that he was responsible for the worst decisions in terms of managerial appointments and sackings, all to save his own neck from the wrath of the supporters.

Blatter attacks the premier league (again) BBC SPORT | Football | Rich Premier League worries Fifa

He has some valid points I suppose, but once you cry wolf so many times, people tend to not listen anymore.

It's been confirmed that Vladamir will be playing for Spurs this season. He accepted a contract worth £4 a week plus minced beef and onion pies

:clap::clap:

Our attack looks brilliant for next season :D

1 more mid, 2 CB's and a bit of cover for the wings now Mick and its job done

Do you think you'll come back in for Mancienne? I would like to see him go on loan to another prem club or stay with us for some first team experience - he did well with Wolves last year iirc so could be a good move for both parties.

Or he will be as inconsistent as ever in a better team :) I'm saying this praying he is another Saha hoping he will not live up to his potential.

Mate, he was consistent against all opposition with Wigan, easily their best player by a mile. He is very good consistently for Ecuador as well, he is not just a big game player, he is an every single game player -oh and he has no injury problems like Saha.

I think he'll do well, not going to fill the gap left by Ronaldo, but i would imagine he'll develop much better with the quality around him.

That might be true but i would die before admitting it.

While you are here, what is going on at Emirates? You seem to be getting no one, very quiet. Heard any rumours?

Nothing good Melo was a strong link but that's been blown out of the water so the crucial DM we need is no closer to signing. Seemingly we are in for Serdar Tasci which adds to the Gallas out speculation but i have a feeling our business might wait till after Ade is sold. Problem with that is if we wait till the last minute again we risk missing out like with Alonso.

Burnley : BBC SPORT | Football | My Club | B | Burnley | Burnley capture Fletcher for £3m
Not sure about this one, but Coyle seems to be able to pick players that suit his football, so might work out. Thought £3million was hefty for a player completely untested in England or a more competitive league.

WBA get Di Matteo: BBC SPORT | Football | My Club | W | West Brom | Baggies confirm Di Matteo as boss

He's switched club again! He worked wonders at Leeds and then MK Dons, so maybe he'll be in the premier league in a year?

My bad above, I was of course thinking of Poyet at Leeds, not Di Matteo
