Everton can't afford the £18m that City were asking for, so i doubt they'll fork out the 25 for Tevez. I really don't think City have thought their transfer strategy through. If you look at the strikers on their books;

Benjani
Robinho
Bellamy
Sturridge
Bojinov
Jo
Ched Evans
Caicedo

Do they really need more? Scoring goals hasn't been an issue for City this year, keeping them out has.

That said i don't think we need him either really. If we're signing a striker this summer i would prefer someone like Pato/Aguero/Sturridge who're young and provide a little extra than just hard work and chasing everything down.

Bojinov and Caicedo are on their way out apparently. I would imagine Evans and Sturridge will most likely go out on loan.

As for the others it really depends on the formation they use, but yeah I cannot see any of them getting lots of games on a regular basis barring Robinho.

Didn't West Ham just go through a takeover to ensure their survival? Thought the new investors from Iceland actually had money -Zola has been linked with a lot of transfers in the past week.

Or could be portsmouth according to some websites in the UAE (According to my mate at work).

I dont think Everton will get any investment until the Kirby project is sorted.

No need to worry about those annoying horns in the world cup next year, the local fans will be priced out of the market.

I think Zola used his influence in Italy to try and loan Mancini and some other guy from Inter. The plan was he has a buyout option for them.
I don't know if he's actually loaned them though.

Fingers crossed its everton.

While David has done wonders with a limited transfer kitty, last year was a struggle when we lost key players.

Do you think Everton / Villa stand a chance?

I don't think we need him, we're pretty okay for strikers really. Also I doubt our current regime would touch Tevez and his pimp with a bargepole, very unsavoury indeed.

Marc: What do you think about Alonso/Masche to RM ?

Well I believe Barca are extremely interested in Mascherano and from what ive heard, unless he gets parity at liverpool with the top earners, he will leave.

Got to love the comment from Yaya Toure's agent about Mascherano to Barcelona. When asked if it would be a problem he apparently responded with "Only for the Argentine."

BREAKING NEWS! Oscar Wendt has signed a new contract. He won't get sold before we're done with CL \o/

Seems Sturridge is off on down to Stamford Bridge now;

Sky Sports | Football News | Premier League | Chelsea | Sturridge set for Blues move

Wonder if this will put an end to the Pato/Aguero rumours, obviously they're another class but i can't see why we'd need another striker.

Doubt theres much substance in them tbh Marc, he signed a 5 year deal last summer, no quotes from him in the reports, just agent talk. Probably trying to earn himself some more money :eek:

With all due respect to Chelsea, I don't understand the signing of Sturrige. I think they could do better with their money - my opinion tho :).
