Fuck Tevez he played 45 games last season, when you join a big club, you don't expect to play every game.

Enjoy playing at Citeh and winning fuck all.

I'm hoping we can pinch him from under City's noses. We've seen what he can do in the prem so theres no risk as with Villa/Pato et al; just hope that the lure of european football and challenging for more honours will count for more than money!

In a way I am glad, although he played his socks off, his connection with Jooribachian was a pain -they did all their business in the press. He is never going to be happy at a big club, because he will simply not got as many games as he wants.

I really do not believe he will enjoy himself or win as much in any other english club.

This does mean we have more money to spend now, get Benzema, Valencia and Silva IMO.

**** Kia has had his say - He said Tevez wanted more time to decide his future, but Man U had set a deadline of last night for him to reach a decision. The man just loves spin, spin, spin! Annoyed that he is talking about this.

Lyon could be prepared to sell Benzema, ffs don't bother getting him SAF, he's another Madrid fan who after a few years will feck off and join them.

I would rather we give youth a chance now, even if it means winning nothing for a while, rather spending stupid money on players like Ribery etc who have mind set on joining Madrid.

I do not want to see him leave but if we get the right money the season of the ACN would be the best time imo.

I know who I would buy for the CB position if Toure gets sold :D

Confed Cup tonight, Brazil v Italy BBC 3, 7pm.

The first Confed Cup game I saw, as previously mentioned. Lets hope they ban those fucking horn's or whatever it is they constantly use. Maybe put World Cup in a country that cares about football next time :(

Wow what an ignorant comment.

Do you realise how popular football is in Africa? The horns are their way of showing support, different cultures have different ways of doing this -don't worry all those fans that actually care about football and live in the host country won't be able to afford tickets to the finals so you can rest your poor ears.

Fuck me there are some selfish twats on this forum.

Portsmouth is a seperate deal so thats fine I think. Could be Liverpool one american selling all his share the other selling 10%

Lets hope its Pool? :)

Did that mean Portsmouth takeover won't be completed or did i missread everything?

Well seeing as it's not the same person buying this club as Portsmouth, you've missed everything.

Soze -I think you are spot on. Everton is the last of the big clubs to still be up for sale / seeking new investment. Really great for them if they can get it.

However maybe the sheik has had bad advise and invested in Wolves (hey Everz :p) or Hull.

I doubt it, Gillet sold his NHL franchise yesterday, raising £328mllion, Hicks is in negotiations to sell some of his US sports franchises as well. Either way, they have enough capital now to pay off a large chunk off, or re-negotiate the £350million loan before the deadline of 24th June.

Yeah good point. If i was going to bet on it i would say Everton as Kenwright has said large investment would need to come from somewhere else.

Also who do you think is going to get Tevez? Lots of talk from Jooribachian of "grass roots" clubs, so maybe not chelski or man city. The more I think about TEvez wanting lots of football, the less chance I think it is Man City, they are signing Santa Cruz, they have 4 other strikers on the books, Jo hit form at Everton, Bellamy is back from injury, Robinho has been playing the supporting striker role.

Do you think Everton / Villa stand a chance?
