Im sorry, but you cant call a team a big club, purely on the basis that they have a history. Are forest a big club then? So how many cups and titles do chelsea have to win in order to become a big club? There are many factors that indicate a big club and chelsea are a big club.

Whilst I don't disagree it is a complete disgrace that Bosingwa can give interviews to journalists claiming that ref's have been bribed. If it had been some small time team that behaved like that after pluckily playing for a 0-0 draw and getting caught out by a big team you could bet the book would have been thrown at them.

And, I'm truly sorry, but Chelsea aren't a big club. As soon as Roman disappears you will sink back into mediocrity.

I don't really care if you think we are a big club. We challenge for all the biggest and funnest bits of silverware and I enjoy supporting the club. Not to mention we're the 3rd ranked club in Europe.

And as Lucius said, i'm more concerned about what is going on now than in the past. I dont want to become a scouser who has to think back almost 20 years to the last time they won the league.

Also you are disrespecting almost every club in English football by saying we have no history, the phrase you are looking for is something like "a history of being more succesful than my club over the past decade" but since there aren't that many of these clubs about, you're basically shitting on every other club who hasnt won as much as you have.

And goodluck on waiting for our decline, by the time Abramovich is gone (not happening anytime soon) we'll have cleared our debts and have one of the highest revenues in the world

Have to say i prefer the current champions league format.

Seeing Man Utd play Lyon/Real Madrid/Inter Milan/Bayern Munich/Ajax year after year isnt to my tastes.

Well I'd say it was a pretty piss poor source if it claimed that Madrid where swapping Hleb and Eto'o plus cash.

Barca are still in for Villa last I read, I cannot see them going for Zlatan and giving up two players plus cash. They can get Villa for just the cash.

TBH, ive never looked at the site but I dont know whats going on with the striker situation at Barca. Im lead to believe that Eto will sign a new contract but thats about it! Oh and Puyol has rejected Man Citys advances and will sign a new contract when he gets back from his jollies.
