Thing is when these groups were active most people were only just getting 50's and these groups were the only real power players.

So you had loads and loads of total noobs to farm (me included) and i dont imagine it was very hard....at all. (with the possiable exception of mael who were formed slightly later but still came into a similar enviroment)

Lol tbh at the above. I'd guess at the time there would be at least 400 Hibs with a level 50 char and and at that time we had well less than half of Albions level 50s. Rofl. Most of the times those groups got squashed by zergs or beaten by each other and with a combined 200 people in emain from all 3 realms it wasnt long before they was back at their bindpoints.

Ofc you had each other to fight for the challenge aspect but you had all the advantages on most people who didnt rvr seriously.

Comparing rvr then to now is a bit of a joke.

Thow since you been playing with each other in the same way since then and staying on top of all the updates your ofc still top of the food chain, but is is concevable that people might be good even if when these groups were running they didnt care about what happened in emain

mael didn't even start as an rvr grp till a few months after si, most people had 50s probably a year before that, certainly by si there where loads of lvl 50 players around, possibly the busiest the game ever was, for quite a while we where the low rrs running around
what ramble said was probably the best period of rvr on this server, drop all the class specific ras (ie grp ras, pr etc) from 1.65 and it would have been pretty much perfect, ec, pe, fl, np for a bit, all where great fun to fight, and there where a lot of other rvr grps around at that time too, fl, tdd, ad, to avalanche, severance hds and others

Much, much less bb, I remember a pbuck grp where you and me were clerics (yeah, not other reju was around ) and I had to give the base buffs. Not sure when was it tho, before spreadheal, for sure.

ofc a "new" group can be as good as the "old ones", but as you already mentioned thers no good group out now.

when spellcraft was released do u have any idea how many people was rushing to give orders to spellcrafters ?
solarflare one of the first lgm spellcrafters on alb/prydwen took almost 100 spellcraft orders b4 he dinged lgm , people knew he was starting to train sc and he did get fuckloads of orders
i doubt that people in fl or pe in specific knew about him then ,actually im quite sure that neither pe or fl existed back then ,i dont know about the mid + hib guilds tho.
And it wasnt only solarflare that was lgm spellcrafter there was quite a few ~
This rather proves that u are quite clueless tbh , just because u have been in rogs or cool shiny barrows drops and df armour or epic till toa, doesnt mean that every single person in the server was thinking like u did
