Some sort of crazy reason like having a preference for choosing the race that appeals to them most?

I look at WoW and I want to play a Nightelf, they look great. It wouldn't matter to me if they were Alliance, Horde or part of Butt Munchers From the Outer Planes, I'd still play one.

I look at the Horde and I don't see much that appeals to me. Is that my fault, and the fault of other players, for not finding the unappealing appealing, or Blizzard, for making the same mistake as Mythic and creating a game that clearly favours one side over the other?

Agree also, game is quite simple, and gfxs are simular to games made 4 year or so ago

I dunno about you guys, but last time I zoomed in close to something in daoc I wasn't exactly going oooooh aaaaaaaaah either.

If you look at the two worlds the wow world is crafted better to fit the engine than what is done in daoc.

true, and im glad catacombs will change some of that but.. its more a matter of taste, do you like cartoons? you'll say WoW looks better, do you like some sort of realism.. i bet you'd go for DAoC
