If so then why dont you just piss off..if you read the thread Teador just posted where a necro in shade form just wanders up and takes the relic, whilst the pbaoe defenders just can watch, because the pet is parked admidst a gazillion alb's and cant be touched , if that not gaining an UNFAIR ADVANTAGE then I dont know..btw after you read.. go play with playdo or something, what peopel who dont play the game think.. just realy means diddly squat , zippo , nada , nix numbsda , asf

It's a shame that people who play MMORPG's seem to be immature enough to be content with arguing over the syntax of each others posts.

I'm so fed up of seeing the various 'Quotes' and then reading what is really nothing more than personal jibes and slaggings towards each other.

I know I know, if i don't like it don't read the boards and so on, but its really getting out of hand now. I read the barrysword boards less and less these days cause you have to read through so much nonsense to be able to get anything intersting to read.

I would have expected more from a moderator too Brannor. Are you meant to be responsible? You are one of the worst offenders in this thread.

Are we not missing an important point here, and that is that we rely on each other to have a fun RvR experiance?

The other night when i logged on, and there was a corpse summoner in Hildskaif I was honestly pleased that my friends the albs had arrived to do battle in Odins. Theres nothing like a big battle between the realms, and Svasud is nice and close so i thought it was going to be a fun night.

Sure I was going to get farmed more than i manged to get killed, but what the hell! It's fun attacking a keep with defenders in it, and only a week before I was in a big zerg giving the albs a lot of trouble in a CS keep, so it was time to return the compliment eh?

But i ran out there and wished i hadn't. Necromancers had made it virually impossible to get anywhere near the doors, so after about half an hour I logged off.

So whats my point?

I would like to think that if i was in possesion of a charachter that had the ability to effectivly spoil the game for other players, whether Mid, Hib or Alb, then i simply wouldn't use the charachter in such a manner. Simple as that. Rather than be a smart arse saying GOA don't say its an exploit, or it'll get fixed later deal with it.

Whats wrong with having some consideration towards each other? I think even a necromancer would admit that the bug in this patch can make things next to imposible for opponents in some circumstances.

Why do we have to wait for the patch?

This of course is easy for me to say being a Skald. I doubt i'll ever be tempted with so much power.

What you all fail to get to grips with, is that there is NO WAY for the Necro to play "fair" in a keep defense. He/she can put their pet on the wall, but there is NO CODE to check for Line of sight, so just how is the necro going to be able to cast in a way to make it "fair". They cannot.

Sure, putting the pet in the courtyard, next to the wall, takes this to the extreme. But, you cannot honestly tell me that you expect anyone to sit with their mouse pointer (or QB icon if the actually have one) hoverring over the passive command to tell their pet "Noooo, don't cast! I don't think you have LoS on that target!"

Gimme a break. As I said, there are extremes, with the courtyard/outside, but I saw quite a few necros take their pets, with them, to the walls. Even then, they simply cannot ensure "fair" play. What has amused me all along, is that you generalise ALL necromancers into the courtyard/outside pool.

As for attacking keeps? Well, I trully lost count around about the 3000th time I saw someone lag out of a keep to DoT people attacking the doors. People PA'ing through a door? Hell, that gains you a big advantage as you can quite easily drop someone in one shot if they're wounded already.

So, you'd really only be happy, if necros NEVER went near a keep?

If you understand and accept only one thing, understand this: A Necromancer has NO control on the Line of Sight EVEN if they want to play fair. A Necromancer could try their damndest to play "fair", but let him/her "accidentally" nuke you ONCE where LoS was questionable, and you'll label them a bug abuse and come here to whine.

But anyway. I don't play anymore, and occasionally feel like sharing some flames, so I come here. You all amuse me.

If you bothered to read what Tea said you will note that Albs have actually refrained from using such tactics even tho they could within the CoC .. the reason being is that they think it would be unfair to do so .. kind of ironic isn't it?

Look on the brightside Planetside arrives soon, no necros in that, no chanters, no insta win button. Just plain old FPS skills in a MMPG where you can land drop ships on people, run them over in tanks or just chainsword people you dont like.

Fun, is relevant. I don't like zerging. I hate Shadowzergs. I hate buffbots. Those all spoil MY fun. But do you think others care what I think? No. The don't give a flying fuck because THEY have fun. Same thing can be said of Necromancers. Some of them may get a lot of fun (and their realm mates who get to score lots of RPs) out of "pwning" people at keeps. If you don't like necros in keeps, take the keeps when they're undefended.

Thoose albs are playing a fair game, thoose albs who are not are just sad lamers that will quit playing their necro as soon as the los is fixed.

or pbaeo dont go thru walls.
pb has one enemy and its gt, nice tool when hib/alb/mid are camping lord room and need interupt.
probably hib/alb still see wet dreams when they only had pbaeo.

and gt are in all 3 realms, not only 1 like so sad, gimped, necros.

Once I respected you Brannor for trying to bring attention to abuse of flaws in the game and trying to make all play the game in a fair way. Think alot other Daocers share this oppinion
