Just wan't to say I'm very dissapointed. I've been on several legion raids and haven't got anything. And I don't complain about that, cause not everyone get something. But today we had a fair lottery of 4 people intrrested in the sould crusher. We made a CG and after some discussing we decided all to pick a number between 1-4. I picked 2. We went to some lowbies near tnb who was hunting and asked for a number, they saied 2 first. Then I though, yey I'm lucky finnely a drop from the legion raid, the hammer I've been after since DF came.

Then aragone say he refuse to give away the hammer..... He did not reply to tells, and he logged few mins after.

Ofcourse he did great job organizing raids etc, but he still can't take a legion on his own, and drops should be fair dealed to those who need. Witch it was, xept some peaple just have to let the greed take over

I've lost alot of faith in specially Aragone and also several member of CF, it's also other peeps playing that you uber l33t folks who think you so much better than everyone else, makes me sick uke: (not a flame to all in CF, just some of theire members who sux)

afaik the reason that aragone organised the raid was partially because he wanted that hammer, and this is the second time hes done a succesful legion raid because on the first one the hammer didnt drop. i dont see it as so unreasonable that he should get to choose a drop for organising, in the same was as if i wanted a certain drop and wanted a 100% chance of getting it then i would try to arrange a raid.

i was not on this raid due ot the huge lag at the start, and as i said in the thread ort started i turned back, however some of the stuff that i saw on /as really was a bit disappointing. this isn't the first time that after a raid someone has insulted CF in part or whole over the CF alliance channel because of a drop. we aren't albs, why are people acting like them

Well, i agree that Aragone should get an item from that hunt because he organized it.

So, Aragone has all drops in inventory, choose an item he wants and share the rest of loot in whatever way the people wish to do it. Thats how an ideal loot sharing should be like Imao.

I wasn't in the Tank CG, but how did an item the organizer wanted came into lottery ????????????

well if you so badly want a specific type, it might help to do it crystalclear about that you want this item IF it drops. then it would be acceptable even if it maybe wouldn't be 100% fair to everyone now letting it come down to a roll then lose and run away with it is so, so wrong.

But I guess I need to hear another persons story about this before I make up mind on what I really should think.

And I say it again. lose up your mind about the drops, cuz they aren't all that, but your ingame friends ARE!!! now be sure you don't lose a potential bestfriend in game just becuz of some silly drop that isn't THAT hard to get.

I think the point is he agreed to a lotto, numbers were picked and he lost, and THEN he decided he wasn't going to give away the item (afaik). He never said beforehand that the hammer would go straight to him if it dropped, as you suggested. Although if he had I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't have bothered going, I sure wouldn't...

What I think would be benefical is...

After a mass mod raid has finished..... someone should record a full list of the items dropped and exactly what guild/person they went to...

We can then make sure that the distribution is completly fair....

But all in all I think its was handled really well...(even though no ranger stuff dropped :-()

The story

The story was the following:

Aragone told some guildies before the raid that he wanted this item, and that it was partially why he wanted to arrange this raid. He did NOT however, say it to anyone except the guild, on the raid.

The legion was killed, and the items dropped.

Back in Tmbeo. Everyone rolled for the items they wanted, and he said, before the roll mind you, that he wanted to keep this item, becase he arranged the raid. He left the CG, and rode off. Kobold in tuatha de Dannan, the one who started this post, won this roll, and among others Lofff and werga was a witness to this poll.

It was reported by lofff in the alliance chat, and CF did not consider this as anything else then a greedy attempt of a sad looser of the roll, and supported their member, which i guess any guild who did not know the story, would have done.

After this, however, we spoke with several members of CF, including Ortunga, and mostly everyone agreed that even if he might deserve the item for arranging two raids, this way of simply picking the item was quite inappropriate.

Plez do not judge CF as a whole for what he did, it was a single member, and it was not much CF could do about it, since he did not answer to tells, left the chatgroup and logged only moments after people had started to confront him with this picking of items.

However it will be interesting to see how Celtic fist will deal with this issue the next time they see him online, and personally i hope they at least try to force him into giving the item to Kobold, who all in all DID win the roll for this item.

Who knowns, maby he will get the same hammer in the next raid, fairly, or even arrange yet another raid where he tells those who actually is on the raid that he demands the 2hb before the raid, not after, like he did. If he does this, I will not see any unfairness in the matter, but this way, I consider it as theft, no matter what he belive he have the right to claim.

Was a great raid and i even won a cloak in lotto, but if i didnt get it it would not matter
I only wanna know where all the seals go everytime..

And If there is a lotto there should be one guy who win the thingy, but if the item is already spoken for in advance of the raid the item should belong to that guy.. But plz state claim b4 raid and to alot of ppl not a few friends (and then dont do lotto on that item)

Enough damage has been done to Aragon's reputation alone, and we haven't even heard his side of the storey. If he did hog it as detailed, I totally trust CF to handle it the best way they see fit. The end of the day this is nothing new...and it is just a hammer...



Rofl an uber hammer dropped of a mod near legion on the raid and it fell in my pack pack... needless to say it was handed to Cuth.....(some druid hammer +22 empathy !!!)

If a hammer dude wants a dropped Legion hammer, he can organize a Legion raid. Like Aragone did. Or, I suppose, he can throw a tantrum and spam alliance chat and message boards about how unfair life is and how evil and greedy other people are, but the first choice seems the better one to me - and the quickest way to get the hammer.

I agree it's wrong the way Aragone dealt with this situation and he will have to do a lot of explaining ... but I also know the amount of effort he has put into 2 raids now which he has been the main driving force behind, and he does deserve this.

As I see it he did 2 things wrong.

1 He didn't state beforehand that he was organising the raid, was only doing it to get himself the hammer and wanted first choice (without lottery) on any tank specific drops.

2 Because he didn't state the above a CG was formed to lottery the hammer but he ran off with the hammer, so the 'winner' feels cheated.

The problem is that people then flame Celtic Fist as a guild, which then puts every person with<Celtic Fist> under their name's back up.

I found out today that I've also been accused of being a loot hogger, which is quite amusing, and anyone that knows me/has ever grouped with me knows it is utter bollox. I would guess that the person doing the mouthing is referring to the Legion dropped LH blade (100%qua, 35%bonus)

Why BM only?

Quite simple. Blades are a BMs primary weapons. I've seen Rangers moaning cos they didn't get an uber piercer or blade, when both weapons are secondary. There were people at mBeo (heroes/wardens) who wanted into the CG and I refused to invite them. Had the blade been RH only then any blade wielder would have had a shot. If anyone can give me a sensible argument why Blademasters shouldn't have first shot at the best dropped LH blade in the game then I'll have a rethink, but I doubt it will happen.

These drops aren't worth all this argueing. I'm not gonna go on another legion raid if this is the end of it EVERY time someone gets dissappointed.. Aragone did a stupid thing and CF should deal with him accordingly and I have no doubt they will but until he explains himself and this issue is resolved I'm not going to team with the guy. Kobold is a personal friend of mine and I know he is honourable and he would'nt tell lies

Quite frankly, I've heard a lot of bull about CF and a lot of people don't like their attitude. Please try to get your reputation and respect at the lvl it's supposed to be and take care of this issue before more people start to dislike you. I know there are lots who do for reasons like this.

Everyone with the same tag above their heads represent their guild as a whole and if they act like morons, their guild also gets blamed If you don't want bad rep then please get rid of people making it a hard time beeing CF.

Rep's are all that matters when considering a guild so get your head out of your ass and smell the fresh air, couse talking out of your ass will only make people believe your a talking shit.

PS: I've also been at Legion raid and have gotten 25 master seals and happy with it Good work on that seal CG at the legion raid before this one. Oh, and we have made a lot of progress on the loot distribution system.

Not many a day goes by where I don't hear someone slag of a member of CF, or CF as a whole, whether this be right or wrong is not for me to judge.

on the other hand, i dont really see why raid leaders should have auto pick on loot ? (no matter the guild or what he/she have done for HIB in the past/present/future) every1 who was there deserves a fair and even chance on the loot, no matter if u 1 doing the /stick F7 F6, or u are the ones leading the zerg to legion/prince whatever.

In defense of Aragone:
- In the previous three raids the organizer did get to pick one item
- Aragone's conversational-skills aren't particularly good and I haven't seen him post much at all on these boards

In defense of Kobold:
- If Aragone did not state clearly that he wanted the hammer and was expecting to get his pick from the drops, combined to a lottery being held in which Aragone did NOT win, it really makes everything all rather awkward. Aragone running off with the item without explaining in /broadcast, makes it worse.

Things are being discussed in our guild, but I honestly cannot say
if anything will come from it.

I do want to state one thing though: I hope people have the sense not to judge/treat the whole of the Celtic Fist (or any other guild for that matter), because of the possible or true questionable actions of one or more of it's members.
Every person that plays this game is exactly that: a person.
Each person deserves to be judged and treated according to his own actions.
The people who play this game are, in my opinion, much more important than silly drops.

As always: I'm trying to see both sides of the coin here, and I'll do my best to make others see both sides too.
