No point in 50 slash/DW imo either, you get Amyspam... 39 DW max with slash, get CD atleast...

If I were infiltrator I would never spec slash or dw 50 for that matter.

1. Slash is good against sbs, but after 1.62 there wont be many sbs around to fight anymore. But ns are slashresistant...

2. The debuff hurts like hell.

3. No dragonfang which is the insta-win-button if you have the relics(ok, I could have Purge up, but probably not, because ALL alb-stealthers gives a massive stun)

And if you go dw 50 you have to gimp the cs-line or envenom, and that isnt a serious option, a heavy pa + the 47 debuff = ubah against ALL classes.

i fought meduza, aybabtu and co , all musta been 39+ in CS and they wasnt much of a challenge (in a good way), Sxx on the other hand, possibly the hardest infil @ excal, 50dw/50thrust is the way forward imo

I agree with Sxx, but i do think that you need to be high rr for this spec (rr6 +). Being a low lvl rr without poison/debuff and stealth is gonna be hard imo.

50 slash is pointless at the moment, yes diamond slash is nice but the end usage is ridiculous. You'll be lucky if u pull it off twice in a fight before u run out of end, however if mythic ever decide to make Tireless a half decent RA instead of regenerating 1 point of end every 5mins of combat then it would be a more viable spec.

Next patch i'm gonna try out:

50 thrust
50 CS
35 stealth
32 env
rest in DW

Land DF (and if it ain't purged) then u got the 4 style chain in the CS line from Hamstring to Ripper.

this is not based on Inf experience tho :/ a mix from merc/ns/ranger/zerker - and seeing others doing this..

also i wouldnt suggest that slash is so good, because str/con debuffed you will be hurt _alot_ on the weaponskill + passing out on the 9sec stun

also the first template could be changed some, lowering envenom a bit so that you end on 47 with items (imo lifebane isnt _that_ usefull now when everyone is spellcrafted and all - its mostly for the last str/con debuff)

Nice thing is, you get a free single line respec.
So if you get to 50 before patch, get 50 slash, hurt SB a lot. Then simply respec after 1.62 to 50 thrust for Dragonfang.

Almost same damage than tranq w/o a followup like WyvernFang (which, despite its crap 2, at least it infilicts some damage).

Also, is not proved that Defensive Bonus from styles have any effect over evade rates.
