Consider the fact that most groups are rather ineffectual at stopping mid tanks featuring high det savages/zerks, perhaps its time we changed the way we play.
Typical hib groups features no ns (in gank squads at least).
Typical tactics involve hitting tanks last.
However, lets look at what an assasin brings to the group.
They bring poisons =)
Unbreakable snare/ Str+Con debuff/Disease.
If we group 1 ns per group (and have them envenom the weapons of tanks in group as well), and have the bash tanks, would that be a good idea?
I'm thinking of having the NS unlease their debuffs on each and every tank of the mid group. This ofc means that the NS plays a extremely pivotal role and has to be on top of their game. But consider the benefits. A snared tank (lasts for 1min+) who is debuffed AND diseased (harder to heal). The tank simply has to purge or if not he can run around slowly/hit less hard and have less hp making him easier to kill.
If the tank does purge then slam will ensure that he's locked up for 9s.
As things stand now there isnt much a hib group can do to stop high det mid tanks once slam wears off/purged.
So comments? Experienced NS explaining how feasible this would be would be most welcome =)
