I'll be buying Dark Age of Camelot (Like EQ, but more depth, smoother gameplay (Euro servers for one), better graphics, and more sophisticated guild system) on Thursday, and playing it online on the European Prydwen server in Midgard along with the Barrysworld forum regulars who have formed the "Brotherhood of Barrysworld" guild. I'll be a Shadowblade by the name of Saruya in case you're (going to be) playing it.

Game is awsome, played it last night for what seemed like minutes but turned into about 5 hours all told Managed to get me and mrburns killed by attacking an escaped thrall when we were both like lvl 2 or something which was quite funny.

Coming up to having to decide what career to take. I dunno whether to do the thane like everyone else or just go for run of the mill warrior.

Well stu certainaly makes the Thane sound a nice prospect but personally I think the servers a bit over-run with them and imbalanced because of that. The other classes are just as much fun.

True, time files when playing! Remember Ultimate when you hit level 5 or 6 u lose constitution and xps when u die from then on. U may know that already

This was after a lengthy and successful raid on Nisse's Lair where we managed to free the prisoners. Some of us died (a couple of times) but thanks to Nat and Xav we were all rezzed.

Fun was spoiled when a group of lowbies (how patronising is that?) turned up and started dragging trains of tomtes behind them, fs.
