Yeah, I don't think there's a continuous off-road route though. There are long stretches though. If you go from Ticknock you can follow the fire roads (literally off road tracks for forest fire protection) to Glencree - Ballinastoe - Vartry - Devil's Glen to Ashford. I've done bits of it around Devil's Glen and Ballinastoe (walking these days, bikes years ago) and it's pretty nice.@DaGaffer - don't suppose you know if there's any off-road/cycle lane/green lane routes from Dublin down to the Wicklow mountains do you?
Is sneaky wild camping tolerated over there, or should I just find me a campsite?
