Four Canadairs picking up from the Seine yesterday to tend to the big fire south of Paris. You don't usually see them this close or picking up in such tight environments - when they're down our way they always go to a local lake or out to the Med to refill.

Truth is though, some days cycling 10 miles to work, standing and cycling outside all day teaching children to ride on the roads, and then cycling 10 miles back, loaded up all the time with full panniers, is tiring. Especially as North Manchester can be so hilly.
Anyhow I still have my nice analogue road bikes.

It is ok no need to worry as I didn't get round to doing it today as there was only 5/6 hours of daylight left and I didn't want to do any DIY under torchlight. Tomorrow though I shall start before 12pm so I have plenty of time to do it properly.

I'd dream of delivery, but went into Betws Y Coed hoping for pizza from this place, which is excellent, but the queue was a holidaymaker disaster, so we went to the pub, had a pint, ordered a curry from here, which is also excellent, so went to Llanrwst, had another pint, then picked up said curry.
Delivery would have stopped me going to two pubs, and seeing people having a good time.
