How the fuck can the internal diameter be bigger than the outer diameter on a tube?

Doubt it

Last time HSBC was involved in this kind of activity the CEO was made Business Minister so maybe the current chap will end up in the House of Lords. Britain rewards its crooks in banking wouldn’t do to make them unhappy

It seems to be a consideration, I personally don't think that'll work for such an expensive next generation fighter.
It turns out Sweden is hedging it's bets a bit about GCAP and won't make a decision to join until 2029, so maybe Ze Germans think that gives them a window.

I'm not sure Europe can afford three separate 6th gen programs; lack of economies of scale has been a problem for everybody with the current platforms. On the other hand, competition is good for capability.

So, there is a company here in Sweden that makes moose cheese.

And it is 500 €/Kg...
I'm both intrigued and so very grossed out at the same time.

I mean. I'm not grossed out by the cheese, but it means they've penned in and are milking what are effectively wild animals.

Doesn't sit right with me. Cows, sheep, goats, they're all domesticated.

🤷‍♂️

I see the people of Belfast feel the best way to protest against them blacks or whatever is to set fire to their own communities, standard.

Just had a chat with our Google account manager about free credits. They didn't find my request for unlimited antigravity tokens as funny as I did.

Had my first nandos today. What a lot of shit. Awful. What's the attraction?

I've never really understood what all the fuss is about.

As a former (tech) employee: The answer is one of the following:

It's chicken.
It's not bland.
It's not KFC.
You can sit down.
It's family friendly (depending on location*)
It's clean.
It's a brand name people recognise (Even though they fucking shut down my favourite place to eat in Wimbledon because they were a smaller direct competitor)
There's not much choice elsewhere.

Also, you can't just say it was your first one without saying what you ordered. Like, if you got mild-ass chicken and regular chips you fucked up. If you got a half chicken covered in hot+ sauce with their seasoned fries and garlic bread. and you still disliked? Then fair.

This is like saying you went to a steakhouse, got a well done ribeye and salad. Like.. Dude.. That's on you.

E: Fucking propaganda bullshit never leaves you. I eat there maybe 3 times a year because there's very other choice around here which are.. See options above.

I think it's cheap battery-farmed chod myself.

Went a few times about, like, 15 years ago or something. Never again. Like TGI Fridays or Pizza Hut or any other of the cheap chain restaurants.

From a nutient pov, at least it's chicken. From an animal cruelty pov...?

So when I was there it was all above board and actually animal welfare (for the UK side of things at least) was top tier. Been a decade since then tho.

Everything I've heard since then are unfounded rumours, but even I've seen the quality difference in the chicken.. I was eating there probably 6 days a week, 5 days at work and every Sunday we'd go as a post workout lunch as we'd never pay for the food. So I probably have a better reference than a lot of people do (Not so much anymore..).

TGIF/PH are all naff. Even Smith and Western (Tex-Mex style restaurant, my OH's Sister actually knows the owners...) is maybe the only half-decent one left, but it's falling into the same mid-tier/meh range as the rest of them. Cost of eating out to the value isn't there anymore. Nandos was cheap and good, now it's not cheap and it's just.. Chicken.

Hot Pink (Old restaurant in Wimbledon) was probably the best chicken restaurant that ever existed. Imagine Nandos for adults, but it actually being good. They shut down after like a year and I was livid.

Has it always been steamed/boiled?

And I think the chains being meh and expensive is giving rise to new franchises which is good to see.

The chicken would come fresh but pre-marinated, but would ALWAYS be grilled fresh in each restaurant (Same way all chains get their food delivered, nothing is butchered on site etc), if they're steaming/boiling now then that's a change I'm not aware of.

I know what it is, I've just had better chicken based food elsewhere and I think Nandos is overpriced for what it is, which is really no better than a KFC anyway, apart from nicer fixtures and fittings in the restaurant.

Yeah, they steam it - I guess it's because they had issues with raw chicken with high turnover workers.
