Went to see Ricky Gervais' latest tour in Birmingham on Monday, and can confirm it was very funny. Refreshingly he stayed away from a lot of the culture war stuff - not a single Trans jokes - and stuck to the more classic offensive stuff, like Jimmy Saville and Epstein Island.

He opened with a brilliant skit on Rosie Jones as well - not attacking her in the slightest, more the people who got offended on her behalf when she did the "Am I a Retard" show.

Apparently she can't call herself a retard as she's physically disabled not mentally - so it should have been that S word we all used in the 80s instead.

Still not as funny as his first standup show - Animals - but will be well worth a watch when it comes out on Netflix.

Tickets were only £45 as well, so great evening all round.
