I'm fairly sure the RNLI already cooperate with tax-funded organisations to do what they do.

I guess the problem is that you can't really measure 'how many they missed' but I suspect they're doing a pretty good job.

I also quite like the idea of people at their absolute lowest being met with volunteers in bright orange clothing rather than blacked out government agents...

ChatGPT has a long way to go yet

I gave it a Killer Sudoku to solve (like normal sudoku but with sums) and it initially cheated by trying to look the answer up online. Busted ! The solution doesn't exist online. It thought this was a normal sudoku and completely fucked it up.

I then gave it another. 20 minutes later its still processing. I'm no computer. I solved it in 10 minutes on the toilet. I'm looking forward to the bullshit excuses its going to come up with.

My mother use to work for the Royal Marsden is paediatrics -- RM at the time was the leading cancer treatment hospital (I think it's now 3rd or 4th in Europe) and some stories were chilling, especially as we knew loads of the consultants who worked with adults.

Those who are lucky enough to get caught early have a really really high chance of recovery and a large percent of the time hit the 5 year remission mark. But when it hits hard, even something like a small trace of skin cancer, it hit hard.

Not a fun "disease" to get at all.

The worst one was that when my mother got breast cancer (Was treated as private patient as everyone loved her) and it went away, 5 years without an issue. Pretty much into her 6th year it came back metastasised and than a year till she passed.

Cancer is not nice and people should take care to make sure they don't get it - Sun lotion even if you're just going out on a sunny day makes a HUGE difference.

But yeah... Blah.
