It's funny that we're about to bang up "the biggest Nazi of the lot" - when they've known about him since he was 13, he formed NA when he was 17 or 18 (in 2013) and then 9 years later we're banging him up.

It all seems a bit sad pathetic really - from the arsehole and fucked up child from Swansea to the po-po lauding it like we've locked up some sort of mastermind.

Even more sad is - the only thing we've pinned on him is that he was a member of a group we banned after we banned it.

Got to go up to Leicester first thing on Friday for a pointless meeting (that has to be in person) and will take an hour tops. On the plus side, work will be paying me mileage. So I will be fucking off camping in Derbyshire and hope to be on site by lunchtime.

Yeah, not sure yet. Depends on the weather. If it's too hot I will be in the woods.
Doesn't look too hot. Friday's a bit drizzly round Edale and Saturday's cloudy.

But you could get a really good walk in from Hope and plenty of secret places to pitch a tent in the woods around here. (The Cheshire Cheese Inn does great food if you're eating before camping).

President Biden is begging Opec to expand production. He’s opening new lands for drilling in the Gulf of Mexico and public lands of the US. Right now, what I’m seeing from world leaders, including Biden, is that they’re using the bully pulpit of their position to urge the expansion of fossil fuels. They’ve completely stopped talking about taking climate action.

Ah, thought you were going to the peak.
Fuck that, it's meat and chill. A mate joined me this evening. Excellent weekend and back in time tomorrow for the football.

Network rollout will happen; the bigger challenge at the moment is actually buying an EV in the first place, every manufacturer has massive wait times.

I see it as double edged. If I got an EV today the network rollout hasn't happened - so it'd be totally shit for me. - When I really want to use my car it's for really long journeys - often to remote places - which will be last on the rollout plan, in the same way they're last on mobile coverage or internet rollout.

Also, I'm staggared by the price they're charging per kWh for EV's:

As an example, the Folkestone Supercharger site (which is part of the non-Tesla pilot) charges non-Tesla drivers £0.61/kWh, reducing to £0.48/kWh with the monthly subscription.

In contrast, Tesla owners pay on average around £0.26/kWh to use Supercharger sites.

Wowzers. That's some shit 'leccy pricing there.

I saw a Kia EV the other, looked quite nice to be fair but then I noticed lots of blatant Tesla copying.

The governments rollout plan for charging infrastructure will still be behind even with the EV delays.

I don't think either Kia looks like a Tesla, which is an advantage in my opinion.

And pretty much all of them are double their ICE alternative in price. Which means 2 things, people just aren't going to be able to afford them and secondly, unless there are some serious tax incentives, fleet aren't going to be interested either.

Fleet obviously counter in resale (they just fuck them off at an auction after a 2-3 year 150k+ mile lease) in their lease costs.

If you're going to watch porn on your phone, make sure you remember to close down the offending tabs on your browser before handing your phone over to a professional the next day who needs your browser to check an account they just set up for you.

Me: Sorry about the porn
Him: Heh...its ok...we're all guys here, right ?

Torn between punching him or asking what he thinks of the bouncing rack on Lisa who was busy getting banged in the rear by a guy with a cock like a boa constrictor, I decided to just let him open a new page and keep quiet.

The Swiss physicist Fritz Zwicky referred to people he didn't like as "spherical bastards" because they were bastards no matter which way one looked at them.

On a similar intellectual level, I saw Robbie off of AFTV described as an easter egg with legs the other day.
