I still have an O'Neal hoody that I bought when I was dating my now wife, in 2001. It's my camping/mooching about hoody.

Allegations made to Bafta and Netflix.

Why make the allegations to anyone other than the police? If the allegations weren't made to the police first aren't these anonymous women opening themselves up to libel accusations?

If he's a scumbag then: police. No?

Police won't get you on Oprah
It's tempting to condemn them for that tbh. If you're getting someone the sack for serious allegations then there is due process that must be followed.

I detest the trial by media, if you've got evidence go to the police otherwise it is just hearsay and personally I've always had an issue with the damage that can be done by even making the accusation public.

Dumbest fucking thing, media act like dicks, then organizers try to force players to talk to them Osaka could face French Open default

Well when you consider that tennis is what it is nowadays because of the media coverage then I see it as part of her job and I don't agree with being able to pick and choose. Would she be as motivated to win if the prize money was reduced to a tiny fraction of what it is and the off-court earnings affected accordingly?

Osaka is one of the female players that has the highest earnings off the court ($35m off the top of my head in total earnings in 2019 of which half were from off-court earnings). Would she have that if not for media coverage ? (whether good or bad is irrelevant).

She should absolutely take the default although unfortunately I don't think it would make a difference. There seems to be an attitude amongst some that professional athletes are just in it for the money, which is obviously not the case. She would still be out there trying to win grand slams if the top prize was a bottle of lager and the cab fare home.

I read that as a fab care home. That would be a pretty sweet prize. (y)

Shocker.

Most British women can't name the bits of their own fannies.

Remember the "men don't know how to find the clitoris" jokes? How are they supposed to be able to when their own owners can't! :)

How you can get out of school not knowing the names of your body parts, or even how many holes you have, is beyond me.

I don't think it's a case of all professional athletes being in it for the money. I think that if it was a real thing she would have done it at a time when she wouldn't have been able to afford the fines.

Reminds me of being kids where the go-to response to beating someone on ISS was to hold a pretend mic up to their face asking them how they felt.

They will be made from cardboard, like the rest of their army.

Just like Western forces.

The US has a serious problem because they're spending so much mainly outdated equipment.
