And your point is what exactly? Everyone knows about Flu, how quickly it spreads and it's death rate which is quite low. And there is a vaccine for Flu.

You're so close but you still don't quite get it, do you? Work out what percentage 79,400 is of 48.8m people. I'm using your unsourced numbers here but I looked it up and the generally accepted fatality rate of seasonal flu is <0.1%. And there are known working vaccines.

If you count coronavirus having 3% - a 60 times worse death rate than 0.05% that 79,400 becomes ~4.8 million.

That'd make the papers I'd wager. Just like coronavirus.

70k out of 7.7 billions not that many. and most of them will be old and infirm before they got it. Many in places where there is t a flu vaccine. Thing about this is its new unquantified and in china. So no one knows how much truth is coming from the closed authorities who are known for lying to save face.

Tbh if you really have the flu you wont be able to go to work. But i hate all the martyrs who slog in full of cold and shit spreading their diseases cause they think it makes a difference to the care the company dont give for them.

Kids are worse man, some parents just send their kids to school when they're clearly not well enough to be there and are just passing their illness to the other kids and their parents.

I had a kid walk in into tutor group (First thing in the morning) she sat down, slumped in her chair with her face down. I asked her if she was alright, she looked up and her face was white.

Sent her home there and then.

It's fucking stupid and selfish.
