Once again, that’s people burning flags they’ve bought. Where are the stories showing they’ve taken them off buildings or attacked them?

Streetview in the US is updated every 18 months or so; it can be as much as five years in other countries.

I think the point is it's become a symbol of hate for these groups. Whether they bring a flag to march or deface one and vandalize property because of it.

You're all going to die! Too soon!

Well, 78% of you are. You fat cunts. Not me.

Check your heart age in this not-as-fun-as-I-thought-it-would-be test.

I'm 2 years younger than I should be apparently. Even with high cholesterol (that I appear to be able to do fuck all about).
Its all claptrap, we are far from understanding how the risk factors affect individuals.
Many people with low cholestorol have heart disease and those with high levels have no problems.
Statins go in and out of favour every week and alcohol protects the heart..then damages the heart about every 2 years.
And if I hear that Mediteranean diet bollocks again I'll have a stroke.

Doesn't seem to be a test you can really do online.
I don't know my blood pressure or cholesterol. If I do their selectors of lowering weight, blood pressure etc it decreases my "age" by 1 year...

Maybe it's a California thing. I live north of Seattle and I haven't seen any decrease in the number of flags on houses or cars in the past four years. I travel a lot up and down the I5-corridor and see lots of different towns. I was up in Alaska earlier this summer and couldn't see any difference from any previous visits either.

@SilverHood lives on the east coast iirc, he might have some input from that side of the country.

Nah, few flags in the big east coast cities. Bush, Bama or Trump, the lack of flags stayed the same. I was down in Maryland a few weeks ago, a few flags here and there, more Maryland flags than USA flags, which is a change from the when I visited prior to Trump becoming Prez. They would usually be side by side.

Hey @Job I have just started this really good diet, it's based on eating lots of vegatables, fruites, legumes, nuts, beans, grains, fish and unsaturated fats such as olive oil.

Think it is called the Mediterranean diet, here is a link to more information What is a Mediterranean diet?

Enjoy!

My cholesterol is higher deslite good diet and exercise - some people just have higher cholesterol in the family. My BP is low because of the regular MTB tho so I ain't gonna burst a vessel :)

There's a rrally good ted talk by an arcaeologist that shits on the paeleo diet saying we know quite a lot about what humans ate a long time ago as we have fossilised evidence, and it ain't what paleo says. :)

But the point about real food - nothing processed, just stuff you can dig up, pick or kill, is a good principle.

Its not about what you eat, but how your individual genetics deal with various fat, carb ratios.
Personalised medicine is the future for long term health outcomes.
How long was fat demonised..now its sugar and fat is good for you.
But not everyone.

Its not about what you eat
99% of it is.

If you eat good, nutritious real foods (plants, lean meats & fish, good plant-based fats) with say a 25% protein, 25% fat and 50% carb balance you'll do *WAY* better than a 25-25-50 diet from McDonalds and other chav-based foodstuffs.

Yes, you're hitting those figures for fat, protein and carbs, but the nutritional value of processed foodstuffs is massively inferior.

Posted about the UK diet being the highest processed-food containing diet in the EU and the UK being the worst for obesity and diet-related poor health before. But you don't love evidence do you...

There is nothing wrong with mcdonalds food, its just hippy junkscience, there is no actual evidence it makes you unhealthy just the endless urban myth.
Processed food doesnt harm you in anyway that can be measured to a health outcome.
Too much Holland and Barret overpriced pseudo science creeping into the media as fact.
Too many calories..yes, but big mac and fries by any standards is a balanced, nutritious meal.
Even though 'balanced' is not actually a thing that your digestive system is concerned with, but its a cliched requirement for healthy.
The fact that it is processed...which by far the greatest processing is cooking, which alters food a bazillion times more than any processing..there is actual real evidence that burnt meats can irritate the bowel and raise cancer risks.
It just 'sounds' healthy to assume natural is best..though natural has long gone, all our friut has been adjusted by man to be very high in sugars and fats.
Potatoes, wheat, carrots, lettuce, chick peas, lentils...all of them frankestein mutants of the original plant.

But hey as long as the packaging is green.

My systolic bp is 115. Which is ideal. And my colesterol also is high and remains the same what ever weight i am. I am 4 years older from that test. Which isnt bad. Still losing weight. Still no doing regular exercise. Hehe

Its Jack O Halloran who played the Kryptonian mute villain Non in Superman 1 and 2.

He talks about his father as a real life Mafia godfather in New York, and the time he had almost punched Christopher Reeve on the set of Superman 2 but for the timely intervention of Richard Donner.

You don't need web sites, degrees in nutrition, celebrity diets. It's all bollocks.

It's very simple

Breakfast: No more than 16 rashers of bacon per one sausage. It's all about balance.

Lunch: If it bleeds, then order french fries with it.

Dinner: Just remember fish fingers go with anything, and a bag of M&Ms can liven up any bowl of ice cream.

Fuck yes. I’m 37 and diagnosed with hypertension. I’ve had a load of blood tests, ECGs and kidney scans; no underlying health issues and I was hovering around 160/100 at its worst. I’m now on low dose BP tablets and down to 138/80, so I’ve responded very well to the meds. I eat a very healthy diet and get three to four brisk walks a week (30 mins each walk) and resistance train twice a week. I don’t smoke, I rarely drink, I cut out as much salt as possible.

Don’t wait to get it checked out, it wasn’t until I got a scan of my retina at hospital that the optometrist made a comment about ‘micro damage’ to blood vessels at the back of my eyes, probably due to hypertension. Glad I got it all looked at.

That's bullshit @Big G - you've obviously been shopping at Holland & Barrett too much.

There's nothing you've got that a good balanced diet of a big mac and fries, followed by watching tommy robinson vids and some vocal casual racism won't fix.

I find it's much healthier to go to McDonald's for breakfast, then you can have 2 Sausage and Egg McMuffins and don't need to eat again until dinner time. Wash them down with a large (full fat) Coke and you are pretty much ready for anything the day will throw at you.

Of course sometime I skip that and go straight for the Energy Drink/Cigarette combo for breakfast.

Yet every time I've had my BP taken it's been exactly where you would expect. I put this down to advanced stress management and daily (golfing) activity. Plus a website has told me I'm going to live until I'm 71, and as the male members of my family don't tend to make it past 65, I'll take that.

I took my BP monitor into work and let some of my colleagues use it - overweight smokers / shitty diet eaters had a much better BP than me, the bastards. Just your genetics / physical makeup that can be just as important a factor (as it is in the case of me and my dad).

Paleo people had a life expectancy of about 30.

What lies did you tell it?!

I got 38 - i mean, don't smoke and drink excessively, eat good most of the time (although bit much fat at times, cheese ya know). Though, i used area code 12032 - is that some shitty poor area in Britain perhaps which took into account that i must be eating cheeseburgers all day long?

Same, hereditary issue on my father's side plus stress of work. 16mg atacand a day keeps me to 80-120/130 range. My father's brother went blind due to high blood pressure so I take it seriously.
Exercise helps and I do at least an hour a day. Even if it's just a fast passed walk. Sweat like a bastard in this summer heat, even at 8-9 pm.
