Who cares. Clothes are functional. They perform a purpose.I listened to a top fashion CEO on R4, she detailed the relationship between fashion and the clothing industry and how drainpipe jeans have been a sticking point for decades, despite all their efforts people wont give them up and they think they have finally started to get boot cut and flares back..theres hundreds of millions to be made just from people moving to the flare.
I got bullied at school. Would have been better without it but there is always gonna be someone who doesnt fit in and kids gonna be kids.I mean, so fucking what, that's life, right?

YMCA said:with more than half (55%) of children saying they had been bullied about the way they looked.
Yep. But surely we're already doing that, or has school since the 70's and 80's not changed a fucking bit?Evidently. Then again just because kids are horrible little shits doesn't mean we should just shrug and say "that's life, nothing to be done about it". Thinking back to the way some kids were treated when I was at school (not me I hasten to add, I was fucking gorgeous and had beat the girls off with a shitty stick. Obviously), it was pretty horrific and I'm sure in one or two cases probably caused permanent harm, and looking back I'm sure that while I wasn't one for picking on the weird kids, I did fuck all to help or defend either. And the way girls treat those who don't fit in seems to be even worse. I don't see anything wrong with trying to instil some empathy in kids from a younger age.

Yeah I suppose. But then I avoid social media - and I think it'd be good if they did too. From the sound of things, obviously not. And in some ways social media has made it worse since the abuse follows these kids home.
So turn your device off. Only participate in social media where your friends and family are known quantities and don't let anyone else post to your feeds and pages.Actually Scouse its completely the opposite..in school bullying is contained, its the cyber bullying that really hurts.
They set up instagram pages picking on someone..people post vile comments, they photoshop girls heads into porn and post them on social media.
The wife deals everyday with abuse that covers the entire country, people who dont even know the kid and live hundreds of miles away join in..there are threats of rape.
People are just a gormless mob waiting for any excuse and the police are out of their depth..understaffed and using out of date laws.
