100 billion might make a dent, depends on the stocks you are trying to devalue. Presumably pick a sector or just top 100. Buying high and selling low to destabilize a market would be a rather expensive way of doing it. Al Quida did it with only 4 hijacked aircraft. Would seem a cheaper option.
