If I give you my pin number then I'm a fucking idiot...
They are sending txt messages that spoof bank ones and appear in the same thread..how the fuk do they do that...they also have a list of previous transactions..not obvious how they do that either.
Imagine how good they will be in 5 years time, even I might fall for someone armed with a lot of seemingly hard to replicate personal information...well probably not because I dont give anything to anyone who rings me and even when I ring them I grill them about my info and triple check the number on the net.
Most people are not that wary and they are going to have to upgrade to industrial strength wary.
Its frightening..more so that the banks wash their hands of it.
Whats to stop one of these guys just walking into a bank and clearing out your account.

"Nobody will ever ask for your pin number or passcodes"

How many times do banks have to say it?

Im more concerned about a very near future where the only access to your cash is via the net or over the phone..you try to log in one day and your passwords dont work, you ring them and they dont believe its you.
You find out all your cash has gone...what do you do.

There's an assumption by the banking industry that you're not a complete fucking retard though.

It'll be all biometrics soon, so unless the scammers are going to scoop your eyeballs out, you'll probably be OK.

What if you have a joint bank account though? Will you have to use the print-scanners at the same time like in the films?

Step in the right direction..two year 22 grand degrees.
Im sure the old boys..snob network will object, how about 1 year 10K degrees...or just face the future and fuck them off all together.

The "snob network" will simply vote with its feet. If you're rich you'll do a 3-4 year degree at a good uni, if you're not you'll do a two year degree (or less) and its perceived lack of quality will follow you around on your CV for the rest of your life. The benefit will be you've spent a bit less to get it, but you'll also be widening the gap between the top tier universities and the rest. Ain't what you do, its where you do it.

Yup, and there lies the problem, you can hand out degrees all you like, but they are worthless unless the 'right' header is on the certificate.
I can only hope this entrenched class culture will be caught out by the new landscape, at least there will be lots of no hopers a little less in debt.
Though I do fully expect 90% of degree debts to be written off, the whole thing is going to descend into farce.
Of course it would be nice if it was illegal to question where you got your degree or how long it took, you know, taking diversity legislation to its obvious end game.

The society which benefits from your education, should also pay for it. It is so backwards thinking to demand you pay for an education, with money you don’t have, only to come with a greedy tax hand once the first check ticks in.

I paid nothing for my education, I was given the exact some options as everyone else and I gladly pay my taxes.

Elite universities are going to get more important, not less. But you're also going to see a rise in study for its own sake. If we end up in a world with hardly any jobs, people are going to need other ways to fill their time.
