CUNTS. FUCKING SCUMMY SHITRAG CUNTS.
I think they were in the building getting people out as well as spraying water from the outside. The fire service response for tower fires is woeful, they just sprayed the bottom 5 floors and watched people die...nothing was tried..no matter how unlikely, to rescue them.
Just follow procedure, close down the area.
In this day and age the procedures and equipment available for disaster are pathetic.
Do they not even have ONE 200ft cherry picker for the whole of London..no mobile cranes, no systems whatsoever in place for rescue a over the fourth floor.
Utterly shameful...they seem to have no plan B.
Why isn't there some kind of huge inflatable thing for events like this?
Something for the Firefighters to 'have'
I said straight away people could have run all their taps and block the drains...flooding the building from the top....seems one woman did just that and it saved her family from the heat. They wanna put huge water storage at the top of high rises that can be emptied through the building like in towering inferno hehe
Have a punt at cladding that isn't incredibly flammable as well. If it had remained an internal fire the chances are it wouldn't have left the flat it started in.You wouldn't need that if you built the building with materials that don't burn.
Have fire doors, sprinklers etc.
You could prevent the fire from spreading so it wouldn't cause this disaster.
See I'm not entirely sure if I understand the OUTRAGE about this one? They say in the overview that he's potentially saved many lives, is it because they mention he's from Ethiopia?

Especially when the implication is that, no matter what he did afterwards, the fire was all his fault. No, it's because how is it in the public interest to identify this individual? What possible reason could they have, other than "lets get some clicks by using this guy's face lads. Fuck him and fuck whatever happens to him, we'll make a few quid."
Publishing his name and photographs is disgusting when you consider what he may be going through right now.

It's funny that the conservatives (and new labour neocons) want a "bonfire of regulations" - because a bonfire is exactly what we'll get.
Brexit will be a disaster for this country. "Cutting red tape" because of "health and safety gone mad" plays into the hands of the unscrupulous. The "great repeal bill" will destroy environmental, health and safety protections for the masses whilst making things nice and easy for the already-rich.
Not really. Contractors do minimum and less if they can get away with it.the UK actually follows EU health, safety and building regs to the absolute letter
And hackers always find a way.

The trouble is, the flames were on the outside for the most part, which caused the fire to go from flat to flat. Internally all doors in flats are firedoors and the flats themselves are basically concrete cubes meaning any fire is contained. Obviously more than one stair case and some sprinklers is essential, it appears this and many others only have the one.
