So it would appear that we have stolen one of the neighbour's cats. Not sure if you remember but when we first moved into this house about 18 months ago, on the first day we moved in a small tabby cat walked in the front door and straight back out the back again, and ever since that point he seemed particularly keen on coming in. We kept him out for 6 months or so until last summer, with the back door being open he just let himself in and came up to the living room and sat with us, so he was fussed, stayed for a couple of hours then went on his way again. This carried on for a couple of months, we kept watching where he was going, but couldn't identify where he went - asked the neighbours, nothing. No chip, no collar, and he looked very "straggly", very thin and lumpy furred, so we came to the conclusion he was either a stray, or the previous tenants had left him here, so we started looking after him properly.

Fast forward 9 months and one of the neighbours has accosted us across the cul de sac, asking if her cat keeps coming into our house, that she sees him going into most of the houses and only sees him once a week. There are a couple of other cats who try to come in, we mentioned those as well, she said that she thought they were hers as well (surely you'd know if a cat was yours?). She said it was OK as she now knew where to come for him when he has to go into a cattery in May, but she sounded pretty annoyed (not sure if that was at us or the cat).

So Freddies, what to do? We've become very attached to little Catlin, and he's become attached to us (he's sitting on my back right now, purring), but we really have no interest in stealing someone else's cat. We've stopped feeding him for now, and don't let him in as much, but if we open the back door he usually pounces and comes straight in. It would break our hearts to kick him out permanently, so what the hell do we do?

And why do we feel like bad people for helping an abandoned cat?

Cats don't recognise garden walls, houses or doors as boundaries, as far as he/she is concerned, your house is in their patch or shared patch, they may not even want to stay permanently.

Best to have a proper chat with the owner, invite them round for coffee or something and discuss it properly.

You haven't stolen the cat; the cat has adopted you. Let it do whatever you want it to, it won't do anyone any harm.

It was a funny and sarcastic reply, which reflects most peoples reaction to the gender movement, and before the liberal dept pull me up on that, if you dont think most people think it has gone too far all ready, then your detachment from reality is complete.

I personally think that the gender thing has gone full retard, but I would at least like to remove the special attention and treatment by simplifying areas of contention.

He gets 90% of what he reads from Reddit. And as someone else has pointed out, he subscribes to the Donald subreddit. Which is full of cunts.

Got a riddle for all of you, try and have a go before you click the spoiler.

Three ants were walking in a straight line in the desert.

- The first ant said: "There is sand in front of me, and another ant behind me."
- The second ant said: "There is an ant in front of me, and another ant behind me."
- The third ant said: "There is an ant in front of me, and another ant behind me."

How is it possible if there really were only three ants, and they were really walking one behind another in a straight line, and not in a circle?

the third ant is a fucking liar

What @Tom says @Bodhi.

Although, if the cat spends more than, say, 70% of it's time round your house rather than hers... i.e. she sees it once a week? I'd say, "sorry to point it out, but we feed it, it's round here most of the week, it turns up at yours one day a week - can we say "it's ours", but if that offends you, do you really need to stick it in a cattery since it's getting fed at ours anyway?"

Don't judge, he might be trying to fuck religion from the outside by pointing out how absurd it is.

Nothing wrong with Reddit. Full of goodness, full of vitamins, full of marrowbone jelly. Lasts longer than any other type of link, Reddit Link.

Good poster. Makes sense. Who in their right mind gives a fuck about what other people are doing in cubicles?

Today I got a load of scanned 8mm family footage back, shot in the 1970s. It has been something of an emotional viewing, seeing footage that until today I've only seen on a shitty VHS copy I did years ago, and on a projector screen in our family home shortly after it was developed.

Anyhow, here's a particularly fantastic shot of me. That Kermit puppet had a mean right hook. And as Prince George once said, that is a particularly fine pair of trousers.

What service did use? Used to be you had to project it onto a screen and record it woth a vhs camcorder.

Boots do it. We got a load of cine film converted to DvD for my ma for her 60th,

Edit: or did do a few years ago, appears the no longer offer it on their website (might still in some shops)

Plenty of decent camera shops do it anyway.

I used a company called Alive Studios, but I can't recommend them. Technically what they've produced is superb, but it took five months and many complaints to get it. They kept lying to me, "just a couple of days", etc. I paid up front. They clearly can't handle the workload, so are badly managed. I wouldn't have minded if they'd just been honest about it.

I'm going to phone them and ask for a partial refund, and I'm definitely giving them some shitty reviews online.

Your stance is predictable, but to ride roughshod over centuries of culture, custom and sexual deviancy, embarrassment, public sensibilities and a long list of sexual legislation with a fucking poster made by some right on knobtwats...is quite simply ridiculous.

Gosh, anyone would think you'd be scared of seeing a knobtwat. why do people even care? the worst thing I consider when entering a toilet, is that the person before me may have had a really smelly shit. I am not partial to snorting other peoples poo molecules. Other than that, I wouldn't give a fig if they were male, female, horse or attack helicopter as long as they had flushed, left the seat down and reasonably clean.

So you're saying you're scared when someone you don't like goes for a shit somewhere you can't see them?

Not being funny - never ever in my life have I watched people in toilets closely enough to find out their gender preference. I don't check under the doors to see if they're pissing standing up or sitting down.

Not once has this ever affected me. Even if I was bothered, like you, it would affect me, alone, in a place where I can't see the person who's horribly affecting me, for the length of time it would take me to go for a shit. By which time they'll probably have left, never to be seen again.

Why the fuck do you care about shit that doesn't matter @Job?

he probably views gender-neutral toilets as detrimental to his culture

For someone who hates religion he certainly does admire the puritanical hangover of Christian dogma and the utter bullshit it forced on us for a thousand years.
