Yes, people were driving too fast for conditions - but people do. The fact of the matter is people were coming up that blind hill and they were getting surprised by the presence of the comcast trucks.
Once the accidents started happening then cones could easily have been put out much further back - but the attitude of the comcast jobsworths is astonishingly bad. The excuse "just following the rules" does not exempt them from their responsibility. If you can see something is unsafe, then you do something about it.
If they're not sacked on the spot for that I'd be amazed.

Bullshit. Once the cars started regularly going off the road then they could see that, regardless of blame, their positioning was helping to cause accidents. This was pointed out to them repeatedly - and they gave no shit.
The guy in the video put out his own cones. He could see the accidents happening, he told them more were going to happen and more happened.
I know @Job has rubbed a lot of people up the wrong way - but this is a very silly sequence of posts.
