Do get over yourself, I thought what I was saying was actually quite constructive but do as you please.

If you want to be constructive, then try doing so. Saying "oh just save up" like it's that easy isn't constructive.

But you take that "do as you please" to heart and stop posting about my life.

I was being constructive, you just didn't like my suggestions so you got all pissy. I didn't say "oh just save up"; I said "don't move into the bigger room and put the money you would save to one side". And fair enough if you don't feel like you can quit smoking, but you can surely put going out on hold for a few months until your finances improve. Just think of the money you could save if you didn't spend it on frivolous stuff like alcohol and computer games.

There's 3 suggestions on HOW to save up, but you don't want to do without alcohol or smoking or video games or a temporarily cramped room so just do whatever you want.

Nice.

I'm in a place called Saint Aignan in a house on the river and there's a firework display on the other side of the river, super cool. Super lazy!

Although they've overplayed u2 a lot.
So that's why you were asking where I am. What are you doing in France? :| Nobody told me...

Just assuming there on my spending, as you did originally and going back to "few months" again which you yourself said wasn't the case. As said, many times, without a job i can't move out, so while i am living here 50€/month will give me a better living situation.

What's so hard to understand?

You're not being constructive, you're just assuming and thinking you know what's going on and basing your "suggestions" on that. If you wanted to discuss it, you could've said "can't you just save up for xyz", instead of telling me how to live my life. That's what got on my tits, if you can't see that, then there's no explaining it.

Just assuming there on my spending
Do you smoke? Yes or no.
Do you go out to clubs and movies and whatever? Yes or no.
Do you buy computer games? Yes or no.

What's the difference between saying "can't you just...?" (your suggestion) and "why not...?" (what I actually said)? If anything, my way was more polite.

I'm assuming based on things that you've said in the past. Feel free to enlighten me if my assumptions are incorrect, I'm not psychic. If you don't tell us specifics how are we supposed to know other than by going off of what you have said previously?

If you were basing your assumptions on what i've said in the past you'd know that i don't spend that much on going out and especially not on games. Smoking nets maybe 20/month.

Second, you're still ignoring the fact that without a job i can't move out. The apartment people are funny like that, unemployed doesn't exactly make them swoon. Its also just not possible to save up that much without becoming a complete shut-in and eating plain rice for a year. If i put away everything i get i'd still need 3 months to save up just for the deposit and still i'd need a job to have a chance to get an apartment. I'd be dead ofcourse because i haven't eaten anything, but hey, just a few months of saving right?

Also if you so claim to listen to what i've told, i'm diabetic, my food spenditure is higher then average as i can't really take breaks from eating.

So if i quit smoking, stay in the small room, stop going out and only eat rice(risking my own health), i might have enough money not to get an apartment in 6 months.

So, you tell me, do i starve myself to death, or do i pay an extra 50 to get a better living condition?

There's your "enlightment", now feel free to ignore all of it with some snide remark again.

Why not just get a job. Seeing as you seem to spend so much time not being employed by the gaming industry, maybe its not for you?

Why not just get a job.

It's not a matter of "just getting" a job. It's not like i'm just sitting here with my thumb up my arse(except when i watch porn), i'm looking and have been for a long time. But when your only credentials are in games dev, it's really hard to get even the basic toilet scrubbing jobs when others have the experience in that field. If i hadn't gone to games industry when i was 20 i would probably have a lot more experience in different jobs and could get something else, but as it stands, meh.

There's no jobs in my field atm and i'm not getting picked for other stuff. Nothing i can do really. Only option would be schooling, but i can't afford that.

Anyone saying "just get a job" hasn't been in a situation where they can't get one.

Reading back i do need to apologise to @caLLous . The c*nt stuff etc was out of line, you probably were just trying to offer options. Thing is that i really dislike people, how to put it, judge my situation as it sounds like they're telling me simple stuff like i didn't have the ability to do these things, or that i'm just wasting my time doing nothing about it. Things like "just get a job", while seemingly innocent, really gets on my tits since it's not like i'm not trying to. You dig?

I was just saying that i'm managing t make a difficult situation better and when someone pops in with a "that's illogical and you should just save up" it ticks the wrong way.

Nah mate, I think he was being geniune.

Some people don't have a clue about finances, youd tell someone that they could quit smoking and they'd get a much better place to live and their response would be omg no way!

You were a bit quick to be harsh.

Also, to add to productivity;

Get a job you cunt :)
I second get a job you cunt hehe

I am sure some of your skills are transferable.

Does your government not offer degrees or further education to adults?

Yes, you were being instantly defensive and overly sensitive just like me actually. Next time just don't reply or ask for clarity before chucking cunts around maybe?

Either that or get a job you cunt

Oh c*nt of back to sweden lars c*nterson.

All education is equal really. I can't afford it because students get paid less then unemployed folk. There is some free "added schooling", but my area of work doesn't have any schools so i'd need basic schooling before i'd be eligible. And yes, i have a certain set of skills( :p), but still, when you can't get a job you can't.

They are the best ever. Went one year tho when they just went puff and didn't work. They didn't reschedule either!
They're spectacular, when they actually work! I've been to them for 4 of the last 5 years. We were really close last year (I don't know how well you know Carcassonne but we were between Pont Neuf and Pont Vieux on the opposite side of the river from La Cité) but you have to get there so early to get a good spot. I wanted to be on Pont Neuf but it was already packed when we got there at about 8pm.

Sign up to a temping agency. Unless you're a total knuckle dragger they'll find you work to do.

Being in work, any work, is better than being unemployed when you're looking for work.
