there's a reason Han Solo never owned a Lightsaber

Well he wouldn't want to be called Solo Hand.

Hmm. 50 euros more / month for double the living space. Same house, but can't really get a place anywhere else so seems like a legit idea.

Why not put that € 50 a month to one side for a few months and then get the hell out of that house when you have some saved up? And stop spending it on going out and cigarettes and not subscribing. It seems completely illogical to "move" to a different room in the same house when it's the house itself that's the problem.

0 idea what you're talking about. Just to squash your "savings" idea right away; 1k atleast required as a deposit for any apartment.

If you can save up 1k in "few months" when you're left with 400€/month to eat etc, i'd like to see how you pull that off. So how about you c*nt the f*ck off and focus on your own life.

Actually go on, i'm dying to know how the oh so wise callous will save enough for a new apartment and moving costs in "just a few months".

Presumably you have a deposit at your current place that you will get back when you move out? That's a start...

Ok, more than a few months then, but moving into a different room in the same house seems to be such a short-term solution to a long-term problem. It's not even a solution, how does moving into a different room in the same house (at an additional cost, who cares how much space you have as long as you have space for a bed/wardrobe/desk/etc and access to kitchen/bathroom/etc) solve anything? You yourself have expressed your desire to move out of that house so I don't see how spending more money to stay in the same house has any benefits at all..

Want to do more backpeddling, or are you happy to c*nt off now?

Do we really need to get into the f*cking sub discussion again?

Actually i'll make it so clear that your peabrain can understand it cal; if i don't have a job, i can't move out. When i get a job, i can. Until then i can make my life more comfortable.

Personally i had a small room and it drove me nuts. Space is nice when the rest of the house isnt as friendly as you would like.

I'm not backpeddling you absolute moron. So it's more than a few months, in a few months you will have made a dent in it. You seem to have absolutely no concept of saving money so I guess a timeframe doesn't make any difference anyway. And stop doing your usual bullshit tactic of extracting and quoting something from my post and ignoring everything else I said.

I bet you're still smoking and going out to movies/clubs/etc though, right? See above where I said you have no concept of saving. You have to make sacrifices in times of hardship. I don't give a shit if that's condescending, that's just how the world works. By living "uncomfortably" for a while, you will save money which you can put towards living comfortably in the future (living more comfortably than if you just moved into a bigger room in the same house). I don't see how that is so difficult to grasp.

Yeah it's basically the size of a studio apartment, so i can set things up so that it's more of a neighbouring apartment then a room.

F*ck off @caLLous , you have absolutely no idea of the situation and less idea on how impossible it is to save and move out.

Yup me too. I lived in 6 or 7 houses when I was at uni, my room in one of them was an absolute shoebox.

Im with seel on this one. Dont tell people what to do with their money. Its their life etc etc. you could say if i was in your position i would. But you are you and make your own choices.

Of course he can do what he wants but I prefaced my original suggestion with "Why not do x?" and got a facepalm and a sh*tty response. I wasn't telling him to do anything, he just gets so defensive and starts throwing facepalms around. It's like he says all these little things about his living situation just to bait people into offering suggestions so he can shoot them down and say how goddamn hard everything is. Just suck it up and make some short-term sacrifices in order to increase your long-term living standards, it's not rocket science. We've all probably had to do it at one point or another.

Callous was merely pointing out what could be done in order to achieve something better.

Toht may or may not have posted stuff on here with the intention of peoples inputs but people are entitled to do - much like he posts on other peopels rants and stuff he doesn't have a clue about.

If Toht were to elaborate a bit more and explain why it's impossible rather than telling Cal just to fuck off then he may be understood at the minute but to a reader it reads that no one understands how hard it is to sacrifice luxuries. Rather than have legit reasons.

Anyway, @caLLous what are you doing on this fine Bastille day?

I did. Peabrain there still doesn't understand it though. Doesn't matter what the f*ck you preface your comment with when the rest of the post is c*nt-tastic.

Maybe if i use shorter words he'll get it; no job, no moving.

Can he understand that?

Nah mate, I think he was being geniune.

Some people don't have a clue about finances, youd tell someone that they could quit smoking and they'd get a much better place to live and their response would be omg no way!

You were a bit quick to be harsh.

Also, to add to productivity;

Get a job you cunt :)

No he was being his usual c*nty self. He has a stick up his arse about me, so he takes any chance he gets to make snide comments.

Do get over yourself, I thought what I was saying was actually quite constructive but do as you please.
