Does anyone ever find themselves reading something, looking at a random word that you use all the time but suddenly questioning the spelling of it or just think it's a really weird word? I've been studying algorithms all day and they keep using the word "for". For (arghh) about 20 seconds I wondered if it was a real word. I'm going fucking mad. This is what happens when you don't get more than 4 hours sleep for a week :(

I get that when writing, sometimes words just don't look right so I have to google them.

Been decorating since 8am.

Knackered now. Time to get a curry and slam a couple of bottles of wine.

Just had the most amazing curry delivered . Got a menu thru the letterbox, and since I already decided on a ruby earlier, thought I'd give it a go, seeing as the ones I usually go for have gone down hill.

They said 45 mins, it arrived after 30. Piping hot, got complimentary onion bhajis (which weren't that great - probably why they were free, but then again, I'm not a huge bhaji fan). Still ate them like a pig :D

The madras was superb. Hot enough to leave your mouth tingling but not so much as you start sweating and feel it burning a hole through your rectum.

If only I had a huge belly. I'd order another one.

"Gamma-ray bursts are highly focused explosions, with most of the explosion energy collimated into a narrow jet traveling at speeds exceeding 99.995% of the speed of light"

Well you learn something new each day. A Gamma ray burst travels faster than two blokes in a car delivering a curry.

And no, Gimmly, Thailand isn't the only place on Earth where you can see GRB's.

It is interesting. As soon as a new phenomena is stumbled onto, there is always a mass extinction scenario to go along.

It's quite a contentious idea about the mass extinctions - theres not a lot of evidence.

Tbh even the asteroid theory of mass extinctions is looking less certain nowadays but its entrenched enough that it will take a decade or two to fade.
