If I had a child that I couldn't provide for and had to put up for adoption, I would want that child to go to a stable home. If that home happened to be a same sex couple that could give the best chance in life then so be it

Until there is proof that Gay parents breed Gay children you are just being homophobic. I am not being PC I have never had a problem with people being gay. I do hate camp pride but that because blokes arses in chaps do nothing for me and has nothing to do with a mans right to marry a man but that is a different story.

I don't personally know a single person who doesn't "accept" people being gay. And I live in a country generally regarded as far more conservative than the UK.

NB. Knowing a bit about how rigorous the adoption process is, no, I wouldn't have a problem with gay men adopting my child, because chances are they'll make a better job of it than 90% of the feckless cunts who spawn kids in the UK.

Much more likely but there are people who have married and had kids before admitting to being gay much later in life because they did not think they could be gay. So I think families can have an impact on stopping a person being who they want to be and force them to live a lie.
