I was installing the heating and plumbing in a basement flat of a large Victorian house that my mate had bought to rent...so this guy comes down the stairs and says hes going to be moving in..he asks where the boiler is going and says could I put it in the bathroom..so Im like..Ill have to get the OK for that..then he's up a ladder checking if he can run cables for surround speakers and lifting up tiles to see if he could fit his own underfloor heating.
So I finally say to him when did my mate say you could move in and he says ' oh..I dont know..I just saw you lot working on the place..is it for rent?'

My godmother lived in Crystal Palace for years, we'd go up there every Boxing Day and stay a few days. I only remember good things about it tbh but we didn't go out all that much while we were there. And yes, that big fuckoff mast does kind of dominate the skyline.

The house isn't actually my cuppa tea (its a bit Addams Family for my liking), but there's nothing wrong with that part of London. I lived just down the road in Beckenham for a while and its really nice. Like everywhere in London you've got good and bad bits cheek by jowl.

They don't seem to have recognised that in the age of the internet, proper reviews are available within seconds. Two TVs that do exactly the same thing and score similarly, one is £599 the other £699. Easy choice for Joe Public. If it wasn't for Playstation, which is some years off breaking into profit what with dev costs and such, Sony would be a name of the past.

Their phones are uninspiring and on the whole feel cheap and nasty
Their TVs are too expensive for the same features as cheaper rivals
The personal music player is dead, everyone uses phones now (see no 1)

In the near future they are tying up playstation into a lot of their A/V equipment and releasing a lot of the PS1, 2 (and possibly) 3 back catalogue

I suspect Sony will be going absolutely nowhere, there's a lot more strings to their bow than consumer electronics. They make a shitload of cash out of finance in Japan, they're getting into medical devices, and of course they have the music and movie studios.

I'd also say your opinions on their kit are seriously out of date - the TV division seem to have their mojo back, and are priced very similarly to Samdung and LG, they make some of the best Android phones out there at the mo (see Z1 and Z1 Compact) and are far from cheap and nasty (my Xperia S is 2 years old, been dropped more times than I care to remember, and is still working fine, and the Z series are lush) and the PMP's are pretty good too (although as you say most people use their phones now - thankfully the music player on the Xperias is better than anything else on the market). Add in PS4, some cracking headphones, and top notch AV kit, there's still plenty in Sony's range to get excited about.

So basically, as per usual, you are wrong.

My world is a bit upside down, don't know what to think anymore. It's like...well...things that seemed so clear turn to be something completely different.

Here's the deal;

When FH was down and the "men at work" sign was up, i noticed the guys painting/cleaning paint and...well...i always thought the yellow in the FH was a doorway shining light outside, but it was only partly "painted"!

This means FH is just a facade....or the door is yellow
